Two clones will look different when grown in any different variables.
If he grows plants through two generations you're going to get adaptation. Like the study shows the adaptation or mutation or microevolution will be greatest for the first 2000 generations. So even the first 100 and 10 and 5 generations will have the strongest measurable changes. According to the study anyway. The study looked very sharp for the first 1000 generations so there is micro evolution happening with his grows.

Imo, he is just selecting for more vigorous plants. They won't utilize light any differently than any other plant. In addition, there appears to be no clear method to select for plants with genomic changes, especially without genetic testing or the ability for direct manipulation of genetic content. Finally, the mechanism of light utilization is poorly understood at an atomic level, so without any idea of how to manipulate the proteins of the cell in order to 'improve' their functions, there isn't much guidance on the types of genetic mutations to induce.

I agree that were clueless on what's gonna happen. But generation after generation he's making something happen. Lol

Grower Update:
A lot of people have wondered what I have been doing over the last 3 years in the LED community.
After moving out to CO I have continued to develop my LED bread seeds.
While the seeds will grow well in most lighting conditions these strains have not even seen a florescent or HPS or MH only LED's.
Taking the dominant plants and inbreeding and backcrossing until I reached a resinous stable pheno I could be proud of.

Attached are some photos of the latest breeding project.
Again still focusing on the purple spectrum for flowering with 24hrs of pure RED Led's once a week to enhance resin production.
All contained in a Lighthouse Hydro Grow Tent (6.5 x 6.5 x 6.5) erected upside down so you can use the front zipper in a top down manner for air flow and extra ventilation if needed.

The Photos Below Are Showing The 2 Main Pheno Types From My Pink Pu$$y Hybrid Collection Selectively Breed Over The Last Five Years.
Notice how the dominant type is a Seriously Dominant Kush Hybrid
Keep an eye out for my grow journal, I've been busy and still have to write it & post it....

Also keep me in mind as I will be looking for LED Seed Testers in October 2015!

Yeah the US has its pros and cons. Marijuana laws was not one of those pros but in the last 20 years it has really taken a spin, in the last 5 years especially.

Sadly I still live in a state where you can get busted for the smallest amounts. Whether it's trace amounts at the bottom of your jar, to some seeds and stems on the floor of your car.

I will be going somewhere soon, just saving and planning. Don't think Colorado though. Thinking more northwest where it's not so full of tourist. Washington sounds alright. :D

I can't fell the same with EU...many different languages...traditions...politics...etc...so no boring...

Yeah you must have to be a non resident to appreciate haha. I feel like we don't have enough tradition.

I know we got shit ton of languages haha , and our politics get made to seem like a big deal but it's just all ran by people with money behind the scenes.

Going to all the different countries in Europe sounds awesome. And all the food and shit isn't processed, the land is way better looking in my opinion as well. I mean by what I've seen on TV, web, books, ect, of course. Never been to Europe before.

I'm thinking of going to Jamaica to see it for the first year their. That's usually when the fun happens and the successive years have more and more rules limiting the amount of fun you can have.

Although with the last minute cancellation for the world cup in Amsterdam and the move to Jamaica it makes me wonder if they will be coming back to Denver at all due to the restrictions from 2015.

That would suck if they don't come back. But as an American I'd prefer it to visit elsewhere.

I've lived in many many countries. Strausbourg France is super nice so long as you stay in the main city. Same as Paris....don't walk away from the clean areas. I dated a chick that owned a castle in the Schwartz wald and we always ate in Strasbourg..... Anyway you don't know what you have until you have something else. America is still the greatest country on this planet......we have our problems but I'm not getting jumped in the streets at night by Turks here.

Most of US peoples who come here do
not stay too long at the same place...they travel EU...so they go in touristic places and never go in "dangerous" place...and Eastern Europe...! I wouldn't advice anyone to go there...East of Austria (where you can buy clones...nice country btw!)
is far East... you know what I mean!

To change subject... Pete Williams is going to be the King of cannabis instead of Arjan Roskam (GHS...)...lol

I've just started something pretty small with one PlatinumLED p450. However, I'm about to add a 4x8x7'11" tent with four PlatinumLED p600's next week. Hopefully before two long I'll be able to use the p450 for a clone space, the one tent for veg and another identical to it for flower so I can be making the best use of my time and turning out on a regular basis.

All the tents will be using the four p600's, which actually is more effective than trying to run two p1200's. Platinum claims the four p600's would be the equivalent of 3200W HPS and from everything I've seen, I can pretty much corroborate that they're right in every comparison I've seen, plus I've seen the PAR output.

They claim two p1200's is the equivelant of 2800w HPS....and the four p600's are cheaper. The only reason I can see someone going for the p1200's vs more of the p600's is if it's a commercial op or they just have ridiculous space. I'm going to need advice from anyone with an even somewhat similar setup on ventilation and a couple other things for the Gorilla tent I'm ordering next week as well.

I do know one thing. I never planned on investing this much. I mean $540 for the p450, $2500 for the four p600's, $275 or more in seeds, a propagation chamber with plugs and a heating mat under it (yes, I know....not necessary. It's an experiment but still), lots and lots of small square pots and lots and lots of 3gal fabric pots, Clonex gel, FFOF and FF Light Warrior soil, dolomite, a meter that checks ph, light, and moisture, a meter that reads ppm for your water (sorry for not remembering technical term right off top of my head) or nute/water solution would be, a temp and humidity gauge, big roll of Mylar for the space the p450 is in, mykos mycorrhizal inoculate to help root structure and nute uptake, along with a few other things I'm sure I'm forgetting.

However, I didn't just wake up one day and decide to do all this. It's all been coming to a head since I was 13 or 14 years old. I've kept my head in books and researched the subject a lot over the years and now, 16 years after my vision started, I'm turning it to reality. I was on Overgrow forums soaking up knowledge back when I was really young, all the time. It's a fiery passion that won't go away and I just finally got an opportunity and things are falling into place, so you can imagine how ecstatic I've been.

Like I said though, once I have a really nice harvest I plan on buying four more p600's and an identical tent. Same setup I'm about to buy. That way I can use the p450 I have for a clone closet, one tent for veg and one for flowering so I can be consistently turning out and making the most efficient use of the time and space. That's the plan anyways. Wish me luck and if you have ANY questions or advice please, please offer it up. I'm going to need all the help I can get from knowledgable people with some experience I don't have. That's why I'm here. To soak up as much knowledge as possible. Much love.

Sounds good...except for the pannels!
Pled is very expensive for the quality they give...
2500 $...you could have better and cheaper if you go diy...or if you don't (you should it is easy...if I could...you can! ) try another brand!
