okay, so this is my first attempt growing. started from seed. for the first few weeks i just a used florescent light and didnt see much progress, a couple days ago i got a HPS. its been about 8 weeks since they sprouted and there only about 3.5in tall. the bottom leaves dryed up and fell off and the leaves come in sets of three. is this normal?
Answer the following:
1. Is there any nutes in the soil? If so your plants suffer from nute burn.
2. Have you been feeding with nutes? If you did too early they are nute burned.
3. Are you watering them properly? If too much they will droop and look sick, because they are.
4. Is the temp too high? Anything too far over 90 will probably eventually kill them.
5. Have you checked the ph of your water? They like a ph of 6.5, slightly acidic.
6. Is there proper air circulation in your growing area? If not they will have weak stems and will mature slowly.
7. Are you 3 weeks into veg and your plants are only 3.5 inches tall? There is a world of problems with these plants.
I don't know why I asked you those questions, probably to give you an idea of how complicated growing pot is. But if you want my advice, throw those plants in the trash and put them out of their misery, as you have shown them no love and they have returned the favor. Do some EXTENSIVE reading in the growfaq and start over.
