Finishing indoor. ) :

I grow in Eastern Washington State and i am looking at a half finished flower for my ladies. I did a dozen differnet strains outdoor and only 2 are finishing properly. This seems to be a problem throughout the Uper Left Corner (NW) this year for most people. I wanted to start discussing a move to indoor solution. Such as.....

Moving ladies inside a garage or heat retention structure. (For situatuins when a hoop house is not reasonable, sush as a gorilla or back yard grow)

Switching to HPS to finish flowering indoors. Does it work?

Suggestions or words of wisdom are welcome.

How big are your plants?seems the light will be close, maybe you will need to toss a net over the tops to keep em low?
10 plants, are you going to run 4000w to finish?

Are they in pots??? if not and unless GREAT care is used to transplant, you will do more harm than good at this stage of the game...mind saying what two strains finished well? if your just worried about cold nights...as long as you don't get heavy killing frost or temps too much below freezing and day time temps are in the 50+ range...you should be good.

Next year start them off 2 mouths early in doors and put them in a small heated plasic green house till the weather warms up and finsh them out side or grow autos (only takes 10 weeks from seeds to harvest)

-Plant size varies from 4ft to 7ft ( 20gal fabric pots). I was going to run 6 600W for an indoor grow this winter anyways. So hopefully that will be enough.

-20gal fabric pots. My Cinex and Pure Africa finished out really nice.

-Going to this early planting next year for sure. Is there any downside to using Autos? I wanted to experiment with them during my indoor winter grow this year. Trying a perpetual harvest.

Thanks all for the info.

Seattle Eastside for me. I moved my 3 Cinex and 3 Sugar Plums that were in 15 gal plastic pots two weeks ago; they were flowering and very healthy but didn't handle the rain well. They were getting about four hours direct sun mid day. I put them under 2K hps. I topped the main colas and some larger upper branch tips on 3 Cinex and 1 Sugar Plum 4 days ago and the remaining bud growth is now accelerating. They flowered early due to shading earlier in the day. They are just now starting to show a bit of calyx swelling.

pic is a trimmed piece of Sugar Plum, lots of leaf and hair, not much flower.

thats great you Cinex and Pure Africa finished

I have read a lot about auto's and they do sound good but the yeilds not as high, they take about 10 weeks and need 24 hours of light if you grow them indoors.
just started growing again after 6 mouth break, before then I did perpetual grows indoor for 9 years (5 crops per year)
tried the Sensi Seeds skunk 1 as there a lot of good review on them, very stable, high yeild and short flower

I am very happy with the results so far, all 5 seeds gernated in a few days and veged for less than 4 weeks, now 6 weeks in flower there full of large cola's
only got about 10 day left before havest.

Took some cutting in early flower, so the clones will be vegged and ready to flower by the time I havest the plants in flower :)

took 9 cutting and all had roots in 2 weeks
