So I'm doing a "mainline", and on my 2nd top on a clone. Letting the two mains grow out a couple nodes, and you know how clones go, a branch here, next node, a new branch, etc. Nothing lines up. So I end up on one main keeping node/branch 4 & 5 (left side), cool, pretty close together. On the other side, I leave branches 3 & 5 (right side). I cut 4 to begin with! So lame. I now have a 2" gap between branches. This plant has been through so much already. I should just let it go crazy from here on out!

Personally id keep the experiment going. Its looking ok so far. And if you want nodes that are the exact same height start from seed. The alternating nodes like that are because you used a mature cloned plant. Dont give up.
