Teasing me? Don't judge me so harshly!!! lolHey Pie and here we thought you were simply the grand vagina master, who knew you grew at this level, I BOW teasing you hard
I LOVED Sunshine Mix Advanced 4 until I learned it was mostly Peat ... I thought I was completely sustainable in coconut fiber. So I've been struggling with changing my mix to simply perlite and coco. You really gotta let the compressed coco expand too or I imagine it would do the same thing the Pro Mix did. It is hard to moisten initially too, so I usually lightly water my bale in a large container then spend awhile distributing it. That's prolly when my tame thrips move in. I also throw in some detergent as a wetting agent to speed
wetting.
I really am impressed with your grow skills. I am looking forward to understanding the plant enough I can go organic but that takes more skill than I have. About the closest I get to organic is adding some Great White to the seedlings and clones LOL.
B. licheniformis produces a variety of extracellular enzymes that are associated with the cycling of nutrients in nature. Bacillus licheniformis is a spore-forming soil organism that contributes to nutrient cycling and has antifungal activity.
The effects of inoculation with a strain of Bacillus licheniformis on the growth of pepper and tomato were investigated in three experiments, one under seedbed conditions and two under greenhouse production conditions. In the first experiment, the bacterium significantly increased the height of plants and the leaf area in both species and in both cultivars. Effects were greater on pepper than on tomato. In the second experiment, seedlings growing in sand and in hydroponic culture were studied. The number and diameter of tomato fruits produced in sand and in hydroponic medium were increased significantly by inoculation. Treated plants had less disease than non-treated plants. In the third experiment the total weight of pepper harvested from inoculated plants increased significantly with regard to control non-inoculated plants. This strain had considerable colonisation and competitive ability, and it could be used as a biofertiliser or biocontrol agent without altering normal management in greenhouses.
Do you add some microbe and fungus?I'm going to start a batch of clones with the same mix. 1 cup epsoma garden tone to 3 gallons of soil. Top dress with 1-2 inches of mixed soil and ewc.
So they will be getting vermi tea basically.
I might do .25 tsp to gallon of Epsom salts in the water I give them.
I don't think Epsom salt will hurt the bennies....
When I up pot to five gallon the will have additional amended soil and I will probably top dress with a tablespoon of garden tone and a cup of ewc.
I love gintama and one pieceTeasing me? Don't judge me so harshly!!! lol
I was getting better grows each run until I switched soils and then stopped prewetting. I think I was probably trying to go fast to watch gintama with Alex.
Our new favorite anime on crunchy roll. Slap stick, tongue in cheek, shock comedy, and tons of pure zaniness! The animation is crisp especially during the action scenes.
Yeah but I am going to have to take time and properly wet the promix for sure. Hoping to have some pretty organic clones going in 2 weeks.
The more I learn about organics the safer it seems. Provide a balanced feed mix, add EWC for humus and microorganisms, Azomite to provide 70 trace minerals, bacteria and fungi, and just add water.
Will try to do a full grow with just that and some epsom salt once or twice.
I am using garden tone because it doesn't seem to need to "cook". I believe it is already somewhat cooked. I mean my aloha is as pure green as it gets and has plenty of side shoots.
I don't like the idea of mixing after adding bacteria. Destroys all their networking in my mind.
I could be completely wrong tho..
I have glomus intradices (xtreme mykos) and the garden tone has 3 strains of beneficial bacteria in high concentration. 208 per gram of each species.Do you add some microbe and fungus?
When you get it all up and going smoothly, you will be in touch with the plant on a whole other level. .Cut some clones off the aloha grapes. The stems are noticeably stronger than synthetic nute clones.
Can't wait to unlock their full potential with properly aeriated organic soil!
I have never try them heard a lot of good things about them i use piranha and voodoo juice and use way less than recommended with compost tea since there some molasse to feed them you need to start to make some tea especially s.s.t. in vegI have glomus intradices (xtreme mykos) and the garden tone has 3 strains of beneficial bacteria in high concentration. 208 per gram of each species.
The earth worm castings and organic matter will feed them. I will top with ewc and garden tone every month.I have never try them heard a lot of good things about them i use piranha and voodoo juice and use way less than recommended with compost tea since there some molasse to feed them you need to start to make some tea especially s.s.t. in veg
Nothing wrong with busting up the rootball, adding amendments. ...pre soak, mix.I'm also excited to see the disappearance of salt build up and to start recycling my soil.
Not sure if I want to go the no till or just add half amendments and mix.
The bacteria will break down the dead roots into nutrients, I believe I read that somewhere.Nothing wrong with busting up the rootball, adding amendments. ...pre soak, mix.
True..The bacteria will break down the dead roots into nutrients, I believe I read that somewhere.
