Update #5- Barely Alive

Well looks like I've hit the wall too this week, and no I didn't fuck up Fimming because I decided not to do that because #1 looked sooooo beautiful till Thursday when I decided to loosen the media a bit with a little piece of coat hangar and all of a sudden POP that oh so distinct sound of a root getting broken in half :wall::wall::wall:. Couple of hours later droop city, 2 days after it was fucked up leaves but she seems to have rebounded after I flushed her but I fear those Cup dreams are over. I guess it's all about 3rd now :(. Growth was great till I fucked up, now it looks like she's just gone straight into flower. Technically speaking #2 is still un-sexed so I ain't claiming an official entrant just yet.

Well I hit the wall at work too today so I'm not feelin' very jocular. Plus we're gonna have a Columbus day blowout update in honor of the Great Navigator hisself and other Amish-Italianas named PSUA-GRAPPA! Till then Ciao pianticella! LOL

All mine showed sex now. I got all females. Lol this has never happened. Usually I'm lucky if I get 1 or 2 females. Shit last comp my best plant was a male. I just laughed when I saw it. I'll make my choice by my next update.

Let's do some math we had til Sept 4th to have them above ground. My germ date was Aug 31. So it's been about 35 days. That's 5 weeks. Then I only had one pop up above ground on the 4th. So I made it in just in time. Socalrob said as long as 1 makes it they all make it. So then the rest popped up a few days later. They've been above ground for 28-31 days.

The math go till when u declare(show) and that will be when?And I do think the community judges not the host. Like I said before. It will all get sorted out at the end:smile:

Geez, grilling me . Its Thursday. This is my 5th time in the party cup comp btw. I'm due for a win. Keep placing 1 spot outside the prizes. 3rd, 4th, 9th, and what ever I placed last comp. I didn't watch the rest since the yield was so pitiful from organic hempy.

Stick to letting the host handle it.

Its not just u man:roll:. And I could can less about the "win" Matter fact if I got the "win"? I was gonna give it all to my buddies that need it!

I grow great leaves all the time ,it's the buds that challenge me a good friend of mine grows sparce fans but super tight buds from the same strain as me ,we mostly grow sativas.s.d. imho,it's the quality not quantity.I believe it's my light,or my lack of technique.

@hyroot go ahead and post your choice on Thursday. Everyone try and relax a little and have fun with this, seems like an overload of suspicion lately. Waiting until your regular post day to declare doesn't give any advantage. I did it also, knew for sure by I think Thursday and declared on Saturday. I watched the 4th and participated in 5th and 6th and we had our share of drama yet in the end they played out fine. I've talked with a few members about some of the issues this competition has, a few grey areas concerning rules, basically making whatever changes to make this play out better.

Right now the biggest issue seems to be either vegging accusations or waiting too long to declare. I had a couple in 5 and 6 that took a decent amount of time to show so I waited. I can't just say it's been a month so pick one, I know there's variables. It's hard sometimes to tell what's going on with pics so player integrity also is a big part of this and we go on this also. If someone has some sort of proof that anyone is cheating bring it up so we can deal with it. Other than that, keep your plants healthy. Pay attention to them and focus on winning. Even in my first one I finished high enough that made me wanting more. Even though there's things that have come against this contest from the outside, I hope it keeps going. It should.

i just can't ok this, spectrum change still falls under the category of no light changes.

@vibrantgreengenes i need an update from you, you're on the edge. everyone else is current and thanks for that. Some good looking front runners but a number still coming up. Nice work everyone.:peace:

Well, she looks better than last week, but unfortunately, she hasn't taken off. Lots and lots of growth up under these sad little midget leaves. I haven't given up hope yet!!!!

Flushed and gave her a nice dose of EWC tea 2 days ago. Also top dressed with homemade EWC. Seemed to spur some nice new growth. If she continues to pop new growth today I'll post an update to my update.

Contenders still coming in 37days after 12/12. Should change the name this to Jack the Rippers 7th annual
No cheating will be tolerated period. Any suspected cheaters will be held for judgement by the community.
I like waiting till just about the finish and then bringing it up again for judgement. Just hurts more..
Its always nice to let the people decide and I thought period meant "none"
