Proof led lights work 2x2 tent Skush

do you think led lights work

One single bulb could not, you are correct. But the conversation has never been about one single bulb. You would build a fixture that would incorporate multiple lamps.

The point I was trying to make is
hps pentrat the canopy a lot deeper than led's so the yeilds going to be a lot higher

lol and another meat head using efficiency lol prove it it grows better show me 36 day vegged from clone plant ?? i forgot most people will throw them in flower 2 weeks in right ?? cause u need to have lots to get any yield plant per plant View attachment 3516368
you have proof lab testing that its better if not sit down fool
Show me how efficient them leds / cobs are down 5 feet from tops show us the bud sites
Looks too be swag. to me ,but they are big. How many watts?

so you need a 1000 watt gavita to tromp a 100 watt led cob ?

lol stack the game all you want. doesn't change the stupidity

The depth of the light penetrationing the canopy will be from a single bulb,
4 x 250w hps will not penetration the canopy deeper than a 600w hps, no chance, it would just have a bigger light spread

so maybe a 100w led cod can match a 250w hps for the light penetrationing the canopy idk

then know one can right unless its a complete side by side we all get the same answers as well there more efficient you get better quality , then you get well if it was watt per watt then led would kill it hmm lets see here are 700 watt mars killing 600 De's ?? nope but then most will say well that is not a fair statement being only 340 true watts is being WTF a excuse for every angle has become moot
right owe it runs cooler there fore no need for AC lol yeah so i never ran ac in not one of my rooms ever only Dehueys and humidifiers / foggers so you stick any light source into a sealed room its going to produce heat so then one must ask ok might not throw off as much heat as a hid but HEAT IS HEAT and there fore needs to be vented and controled

Mars is junk. Did you ignore the part where @PurpleBuz referred to the side by side done on THIS VERY SITE with an Apache 600 vs HID?

https://www.rollitup.org/t/apache-at600-led-vs-1000w-hps-blue-dream-grow.813412/page-40

Look at how nice of a guy I am, I even skipped right to the final weigh in. About 20g difference using a third less energy and significantly less heat on the canopy (sometimes up to 20deg difference).

whats the point of how many bulbs or leds ? a quality led panel based on white phosphors designed to cover the space has as good as penetration as hid.

your way behind in current technology

shhh you weren't supposed to tell them, I was having fun watching them make fools of themselves because of their ignorance.

It's ok, he probably will choose to gloss over it and cherry pick some part of it that will help illustrate his point. He doesn't seem to be able to apply basic scientific principles and clearly holds no regard for efficiency. Not the best opponent to get into such a debate with.

150watts Cree XTE/XPE 200grams and that's not bad! No extra heat extraction needed like u need with hps. Just a fan/filter and passive intake. Density was very good also and this was from older tech.

Quality over quantity for me.

trying to understand how leds work,

View attachment 3516439

but I haven't seen any info like this on leds
Because there are so many different color temperatures, so many different ways to drive them, so many different manufacturers. Where as a bulb is usually ON or OFF, LED can be controlled in many different ways. It's not really easy or indicative of the different lamps to post a blanket chart like that.

that's a chart for "standard hps" to determine height. it can't be used to compare to other lights such as a MH, DE, other HPS, CFLs, LEDs, T5s, nor induction.

Technical data is available for led systems, but you have to look and know what the data means. Growershouse has done a number of light reviews with data that's comparable between different lights. suggest you check it out.

Also - That chart is showing lumens, which is completely useless to a plant.

There a chart for mh as well, the lums may well be useless but 600w hps part of the chart works out about right, if the 600w 1ft above the canopy I get about 2ft of good light penetration in the canopy, lower bud sites than 2ft are airy buds

so the leds are on a kind of dimmer switch to adjust the amps so you can control the power and heat depending what part of the grow your doing

is the "drop factor" how far the light can Penetrate the Canopy in feet ?
and is the "diss w" light foot print in inches ?

anyone put a cod on a peltier cooler attacked to heatsink and turned it up to 3.5amp that should give you some mad results lol

would that be a true cod or a butterfish ?
