When i started curing rh was 75% but i felt the buds were already crispy enough its now 70-71 % when i burp for 30 min-1hr rh in jar stays at 64-65% so the question is if i leave the jar open will my bud continue to cure if the rh stays above the 55% mark or does the lid need to be closed?

It brings it to 62% regardless. +/- isn't an issue. They're 2 way.
Cool il get em for my next grow only dealing with 3 plants right now one curing already one just put to dry and one still blooming so i wont have a problem keeping an eye on my jars but il def need em next time plan on growing way more for my second grow

I mean if you through in a wet bud just cut, no obviously. But after you've dried and cured/burped for a week or so, they're not a bad idea.
U mean like if i was to throw in a fresh wet cut bud in a jar a boveda wouldnt help only after a proper drying?

ya bovedas are good when your bud is holding under 70% rh. ideal rh in a curing jar would be 55-63rh, in my view. you can leave bud in a jar w bovedas for months if youre in the zone.

If the buds are clumping together in the jar, you're not dry enough. If they separate after spinning the jars a few times, then leave the jars open 10 - 15 minutes per day. If they still clump or some stick to the bottom of the jar, dump them out and separate the buds and let sit out for a couple hours.

Once the buds can tumble in the jar without sticking together and you can hear them 'clinking' as you rotate the jars, drop in a Boveda 62 pack and seal them closed, then open the jars daily to exchange the air for a couple of weeks. Take a good whiff to make sure you don't smell a moldy or musty smell.
