I'm Thinking a heater what do you think

Hello to whoever is there. I've got what I think to be a heat problem at night......As it's getting colder were I live. My temperatures are dropping in my grow room to 17.0c it was only dropping to 20.0c before. Is this bad.....now I've only seen it like that when I get up. And they've already been off for 10 hours when i had a looked at them . Now I'm thinking it's going to be lower than that say 6 hours into dark not 10...do you think . I think i need to have a look at 6 hours dark again just to see lol. But try get a small heater today if I can......Any help/suggestions much appreciated


Lol and yes I no it's bad for it to get below 15.0c.just need to know if what I put is bad for her and if you have had this problem and what did you do.


When lights are off I leave extractor fan on and a fan in there on. turn intake fan off and it was good before lol

17c for a few hours wouldnt be fatal or anything but if it gets much colder, get a small heater and put it on a timer to come on an hour or so after the lights go out.

If you need a heater just get a small 1000w electric and put it on a thermostat or get one that has it built in. I have temp controller plugs that you plug heater into that work great. I think woods makes em.

Also you may want to have lights come on when its the coldest time of day to save on heating costs. My lights run at night when its colder and power is cheaper.

Also watch your soil temps. If it gets too low your growth will slow way down.

electric element fan heaters will cost a bomb to run 12 hours a day I find oil radiators are more efficient as they heat up and switch off but hold the heat thermostat controlled jmo

Actually all inductive heaters are 100% efficient so they all cost the same to run. You are heating the oil with inductive heat. A watt is a watt.

I get those temps in my flower room during winter and love it. Shorter internodal spacing = tighter buds. Also, purpling/color change in plants. I actually blocked off my furnace duct to facilitate it.

Thanks to all for help... I noticed that my baby's are more solid than my friends. And there are the same.....but he get hps lights and a heater in there it's fucking well hotter than myn lol day and night... and his are not as solid. LOL . CFL bad man me bro that's what I told him LOL

totally agree a watt is a watt but the oil radiators use less watts to maintain the same temperature overall as the oil stays hot for longer than a metal element would capice

Well your wrong lol. It takes longer to heat the oil so its the same, there is no cost savings. Capice!

I pull air from outisde the room, through the lights, then back out to the other side. It actually heats up the area lol. energy efficiency at its best lol

Yes some do duct to living space but you have to be real careful with smell as you may not even notice a slight odour over time. Last thing you want is people knowing you grow. The oscillating heater works great btw lol.

My dad came to my house and said it fucking reaked! Granted my filter was off but only veg plants, mustve been my cured buds. I was like thanks dad, I appreciate the compliment! Haha
