Ebb flow ppm problem!!

Hello guys,
I'm starting an ebb flow system that will hold a jack herer, 2 mad hatter and a lemon skunk. The reservoir will hold 8 gallons and the medium is hydroton. The clones are in an aeroponic clonning system ready to be planted but I ran into an issue. My starting water ppm is 500 and ph 6.3. I will be using dakine 420 so I'm not sure if I should have 000 ppm to begin or what help please

OK you cannot obtain 0 PPM. I do not believe your water is 500PPM free of nutes or additives. How did you get this figure? No you do not start off at 0 even if you could if the plant has roots. It is not soil. Before advising further we would like to see how the 500 was obtained. The pH is fine.

the pH was obtain straight out of a faucet I don't live in the city so I use well water lm
