The tents are there for keeping light out of the remainder of the closet because you'll be vegging in the same area.

I'm probably gonna make a homemade tent type thing with the Panda film. just use wood to build a 4ft wide 2 ft deep 5 ft high frame and use the panda film as walls. hopefully that explanation makes sense because I really don't wanna draw it out haha

It does look easy lol. And as said it can be done. Scrog takes a bit of time to fill the screen and the strain has to right. Get it started and see how you do. First couple may be a tad less but it can be done.

I used steel studs and wrapped it with the silver/white bubble wrap type insulation to seperate rooms. Also white styrofoam sheets work, just duct tape the joints. I'll have a look tomorrow on the laptop to see what pics I have.

I hope you don't have to worry about smell or have a way to extract the odor because I'm growing AK47 now 2nd week of flowering and the bitch stinks to high heaven just a little fyi.ok so here is what I have to work with
I can use the closet and put a door on the shelves on the side. the closet is about 2.5 ft deep 4ft wide and I would grow up to the shelf which is a few inches shy of 6 ft. The shelves are all 2 ft wide, 1ft deep and 1ft tall, the top 2 are a bit taller by like 3 inches.
I would like to grow at least 1 indica and 1 sativa. Ak47 and purple kush of some sort would be nice

Would it be overpowering in the hallway outside my suite even with my bedroom door and the main door always being closed? Nobody cares about current smell and i have party sessions here..

I beg to differ lol. Sorry B I thought I had addressed that but guess not. Odour is never a good thing and must be eliminated. As for the two doors thing it all depends on the building, if common areas are in a negative then yup some smelly shit lol. Not sure of the laws where you are but its not a great ideal to advertise a grow in any circumstance. You really need to get some sort of ventilation set up. You need to ventilate the room anyways to keep O2 from building up. If yields are important the. It starts with enviroment.
My caretaker does not care, I just don't want the smell to disturb others. It often reeks of kush in the hallway but I understand there is a huge difference between burning weed smells and growing. I just wanna make sure it wont be overwhelming outside my suite. Perhaps I'll look in to getting a carbon filter
I live in Canada, police don't seem to care much here. And we are going through elections right now and it will most likely be legal by the end of this month lol. If not, I'm still not worried...this is a very 420 friendly building..I just don't wanna push it!

I live in Canada too and we can only hope . Just saying that there is more to worry about then your buildings tolerance, to weed. Yup we can only hope . It also depends on where you live in Canada, re getting busted. Here they tend to bust you. 99.9% (a guess lol) would never think to grow without a filter. I take the odd chance with my filter age wise but I live in the country so no one here in colder months, like now lol. They've all gone home. I'm actually going to try and build one next week that I can load bulk charcoal in. You could hold off for a bit as oduor wont be to bad at the start.

Man I hope they pass the law up there. But itmt you can build your own carbon filter or just buy one online, I got the fan and filter for $75 bucks I was going to build my own filter, buy the carbon at Petsmart, but the canister is neater and can be refilled with fresh carbon.I live in Canada too and we can only hope
And with the AK strain you need one, they really have a strong odor.

I have access to a sheetmetal shop so I'll just build one lol. I already have a whole house hepa but the canister is $60 so yup bulk charcoal lol.
