RQS is good but there own site is really expensive, after i bought from them i saw their own strains on herbies for like half the price. WW was my fav smoke when i went to amsterdam so i literally had to grow it for my first one.Thanks, I'm not sure if the pen is the issue or not, as my input PH is 7.5 on the tap and always comes out 4.4 on drainage. I'm wondering if the silt and particles are messing up the reading in the drainage. I'm not sure how PH pens work exactly. It is made in China after all. I'll pick up a chem ph kit as you say.
Ahh, blah. I was looking at those one's from RQS as were good priced. I hear they're hard too. I might still try em down the road. I was almost about to buy the special queen and kush also when I got the LSD but changed my mind. I hope they turn out good as I'd like to try them also. My Northern and Candy cane are from Crop King Seeds, both autos. The Northern, well, I selected the largest seed and I think i'm going to regret it. The sprout leaves are already massive ugh.
Edit: Oh ya, under LEDs. Pretty sweet if you ask me, but then again, haven't seen the final product yet
Doubt you'll regret it once your smoking it haha. Ive seen good stuff on youtube from LEDs, but heard horror stories about cheap LEDs being total crap. How much did it set you back?

Had my first WW in Victoria BC, mmm mmm mmm. Then it was Rockstar, White Rhino... Now I've added Green Crack, and Hawaiian Haze to my favorites recently. Amsterdam would have been nice to go have a few puffs at too. Nice man.
Grabbed my seeds on Marijuana seeds canada. Can scoop em up for like $5-6 sometimes.
The LED has treated me really well actually. I don't know much about the horror stories or anything but since I switched I never looked back. Now for how long it will last, I couldn't tell ya as it's only 1 month old now, running 20/4 everyday. It set me back about $180 CDN. It's a 3W X 100 setup. The only complaint I have is, it hurts the eyes if your are in the room too long. It's really bright, and tends to mess up my vision for a while.
I'm so impatient, I want to try my candy cane so badly. Very strong fruity smell since Veg.

WW and blueberry are my top 2, luckily enough about 3 weeks into veg i found out my fruit spirit was a white widdow x blueberry LOL what are the odds, seriously. although i reckon i was too high to remember but its props the reason i bought it... Just got some cheap seeds myself, 4 lemon kush for $20, also got some pure kush in the same order, those are going in storage tho, got too many on the go right now, getting a nice collection going though...
I wouldnt worry about it, you spent enough money to protect yourself from all the sh*tty products out there. I wanted the LEDs, but just too expensive for me, i paid about $60 for my flower cfls and reflector and about $40 for my veg one with reflector.
Dont have to tell me about impatience, seeing those hairs popping out all over the place is killing me, feel like telling them green girls to hurry the f*ck up... i didnt have a smell i noticed in veg but now when i open my tent, everyday its stronger and stronger. The wait is killing me, 6+ weeks to go... :/

Ah man, BB is another great one. Last time I went camping I got some, and the bud were a dark bluish purple. Sounds like we both doing the same thing. I also have some Money maker coming to add to the collection. I've become fond of the different flavours of smoke from different strains. I had CFL earlier before I switched to the LED, and I mean don't get me wrong, it's still a noname kinda thing that got a wack of 5star reviews, so I bought it on a whim. Glad I switched though. I guess around the time i switched is when I started noticing the smell of them. About 2 weeks before pre-flower it was filling a room thats around 10 x 4 pretty strongly. Question, do you, or anyone else know if I should be lowering the light cycle on my autos? Will it be fine keeping it on 20/4 till she's done?

Not had the propper stuff since amsterdam, every now and then i can get something that seems blueberry-ish, but its never the same, im hoping for some purple buds like, preferably on the fruit spirit, the pics seemed to be full of purples.
Yeah, same here, not that i can get my hands on any good stuff these days. Making a backlog for a rainy day, collecting seeds and growing them is a new hobby of mine lol. I got 4 afghani regulars free off my last 2 orders and think i will leave them till very last, all my others are fem.
I must say one reason i would change to led (and its a very vain reason) is that those plants look awesome under purple lights You got a link to the LED product page?
I just installed my filter the other day, but like i say the smells not too strong anyway, compared to the last few weeks tho i bet it'll be 50x stonger.
That's the good thing about autos, you dont need to change your light schedule, I've done 18/6 on my current ones b4 they went to flower and my new seedlings have just went 18/6 from 24/0. Not sure if running the extra 2 hours will help or not tho. Definately do not go below 18 hours though

Yeah I won't lie, it's pretty cool colour. It's red/blue LED's with UV and a couple other spectrum maybe. They say it's Epileds, but who knows. Plants are loving it though.

That light looks good, good price, I suppose the only proof you need is the result its giving you and your plant seems to love it so I wouldnt complain.
Before my months of research I watched some how to grow vids by a youtuber called nvclosetmedgrower, really helped me with stuff like that.
Think im gonna burn out all of my CFLs before upgrading to anything else either LED or HPS

12 days is not normal. Post a picture of pot and plant.

Oh well. Yeah I'm thinking about buying a second one of those LED's for a small veg garden. Maybe some peppers or something to snack on while I'm smoking candy lol.

Hey good idea! Oh I forgot to mention. I caught my Zinc def's pretty early on because of the LED light. I could see the leaves changing/mottling or something under the LED when I couldn't see it under normal light. It confused me at first because I would bring it out into normal light and see nothing. Then back under the LED I could see weird s#%t happenin to the leaves. Maybe its just me, but I swear the LED shows things happening easier.

Love looking at other people's grows now, never used to despite being a smoker, but now i just love it... it's wierd
Im gonna do strawberries in my outside garden next year for sure. So the LED was revealing things you couldn't see in normal light, that's interesting. I wonder if the CFLs will do the same or if they will not show certain defs.

Realised its due to my tents heat being quite low, not too low of course, but low enough. Plants are very happy at the moment so I cannot complain. In fact they're happier than they ever had been, had problems in veg, but now they're thriving, just hope the've stopped stretching now, its day 18 of flower, do you think they will have stopped the stretch?

Lol and its hard to say as it might be that they are slow with the lower temps and obviously light comes into the process too. I have worked in agriculture and fertigation most of my life as an adult but the best advice I got for my MJ was from a big tomato grower he said "Once they look healthy, let them lead the way and the more effort, expense and experience you can put into the environment the more they will drink, absorb, digest and breathe whats in the soil" or some shit like that but he's right.
