Good Im getting my worm bin together this weekend. Finally able to order organic amendments and have everything ready for early december.

Howd the blue dream turn out? Your journal got me to order 2 seeds myself. Have you grown organic before?

Hey Pelican how are you doing bro? Ive been doing tons of research for my\our organic grow if your still in. I dont recall if youve done much organic growing but if not I have a plan after talkin with people/research.

Whenll you be around again?

Doing good man. Your stuff is looking great! I'll be around, I've got grow going right now, just a few more lemon kush in soil and some random bag seed in a DIY flood and drain setup.

I was actually poking around herbies looking at all the purples, they got a lot more now, guess they are getting popular.

I can do the purps but man, I don't know if I can swing the organics. Never done it before but want to. I found out I have to fund yet another trip to disney world for my kid. That's two, one in nov, one in dec (school club and band) then have to pay for all the xmas shit. Probably just going to run hydro, I don't think I can afford the initial output for all the amendments.

Ya thats fine I had a big payment for something recently and it broke the bank a little bit. Im getting a worm bin going as well, will be able to put a soil together for under 150$..which ill recycle and use teas.

Female seeds right? I got the DJs gold goin plus bubbleicious and pineapple chunk. You normally run hydro?

That's a cool little collection. Heard the pineapple chunk is great and haven't seen a report on the others.

Worm bin is cool, I'd like to see some pics once your all done with it.

Eventually I'll get into organics but xmas time is always very expensive for me. Airline tickets to visit family, playing santa etc. I really need to get into organics as I prefer the soil plant taste and honestly I use junk soil that has no nutes or anything but it's the 3.00 for a big bag stuff, not good at all.

I do both but can't really run hydro until about this time of year due to heat, we are still getting mid 80s outside some days and I don't have an ac unit for plants so I have to turn the central on once in a while. It's touchy running hydro with too much heat, root rot, and even most of the stuff you can use to combat it doesn't work all the time if it's constantly hot and it's just a hassle to baby and worry about them. That's why I'm doing the flood drain, less susceptible to root issues compared to DWC.

Finally treating myself to a tent though. Ordering a 8x4x6 tomorrow.

What brand tent? Apollo has a legit 4x4x7 without any light leaks, its sturdy (holds my hood, inline fan, carbon filter and bigger oscilatting fan no issues.


What do you use right now? I want to enclose a space in my "office" and hang the light from a stud. I cant walk all around inside my tent like I want to.

Id like to try a plant or two in hydro..is it pricey to get the supplies together? Even just a single waterfarm would be a good test.

Just getting a generic discount tent, was reading some input from others here and will just run with the vendors they mentioned.

I use a big closet now and exhaust up the attic. I could keep using it but it gets crowded as the plants get larger.

Yeah, if you don't have people that can go in the office I'd set something up there.

Hydro is pretty cheap actually. I posted my parts in the convo. There was a dude on ebay selling complete starter kits with pH up/down, veg and flower nutes, everything for like 25.00. I really got to get around to making a video on it, it's really easy. When I get the time I'll do a series with exact parts needed from walmart and home depot, amazon/ebay how tom make rez clear, ph up/down etc and start the plants.

Kind Sir is one of the coolest guys I've ever met online; the kind of guy you'd want as a friend in real life. The journal is great because it just keeps going and going with more grows. Not only that, there are a lot of other awesome, cool, experienced dudes sticking with it too, lots to learn from them. You should subscribe and hop into the fray man. There is a lot of extra chatter but never any attitude and all learning and sharing with a bunch of great guys in this thread.

Thank sparta, Frosty. 2 pics of little grow while preparing my organic grow. The bigger plants are Incredible Bulk, Great White Shark. Under 105 W cfls until I finish my inspection at my house.. I topdressed with fresh ocean forest/bone meal and started 12/12.

Other pic is DJ Gold, Bubbleicious and Pineapple Chunk. They are doing great, will be transplanting in a few days. Probably using Nectar of the Gods on them.


Very excited to show pics of my worm bin, compost bin and all my amendments/worms. Will be doing Organic Blue Dream in 10 or 15 gal smart pots. Will be talking to @DonTesla before I confirm.

(He has this cool woden flower bed with "fabric" in between the wpaces between the wood. Which helps air prune and he can do a direct feed/water he was talking about. Truly a killer setup and the results show. Trying to get to that point.

Sorry if Im bothering anyone with my organic questions. I want it to be diverse with legit quality amendments. I am excited to make a detailed journal on it, I get off work within 3hr Nd will be reading and ordring amendments tonight. If you have some free time DonTesla, Id like to ask a few questions.

Ill finally be able to update this journal daily now.
I started trying out "Nectar for the gods" while I wait for my organic soil to finish. It anyone would like to see how that goes, let me know and ill take pictures and paste my personal feeding schedule.

These are my two flowering plants, and 6 vegging plants. The flowering ones look yellower than they are, they are getting better and budding nicely.

Strains:
Flowering - Left side is Great White Shark - Right is Incredible Bulk.

Vegging: IDK which is which ATM but I have...
Pineapple Chunk

Nirvana Bubbleicious girlfriends choice (:
DJs Gold (Jew gold x Blueberry?)

Vegging plants are in Ocean Forest/perlite/bone meal
One got burnt by CFL my fault..I gave them their first feed of Nectar of the Gods (8 bottle Advanced Schedule.)
