Basement closet venting

Okay guys, I've got a large walk in closet that I've been growing in. I've been winging it every grow trying to keep temps below 85 and I've been Quite successful, I would just like to be able to stop stressing about the hea . I have two ideas. First idea is to just move the tent to the wall next to my bathroom and just send ducting through the door and attach to the exhaust fan in the bathroom which would look insanely ghetto and would be the easiest BUT at that point having the tent in the middle of the room instead of behind a closed closet door I gotta be more careful with lights in my room and make sure there's no light leaks. OR I could cut a 6 inch hole into the ceiling of my basement closet and vent into that void, but would that cause fires?, there are also two recessed lights in the closet as well if I could just remove the bulb and vent through that I would do that. If anyone has any experience with this let me know I'd surely appreciate it guys! Thanks!

How big of a tent? How big of a closet? What wattage and type of lighting?

Also, draw a diagram so we can see how the rooms are situated!

One option is to just grow in the closet with no tent at all. Tents tend to collect a lot of heat IMO.

Some more info would be helpful!

The tent is 4x2x5. I know very small. The closet is deep about 12x4' running a 600 watt mh and during flowering HPS. I'll try to post a diagram

Drop ceiling or drywall ceiling? My issue with venting up there would be mold growth on the drywall. Do you have a window in that room? Where is your fresh air coming from? Where does that bathroom exhaust fan vent to? What is the temp of the room the tent is in?

I would like to do it through the recessed lighting if possible. The ceiling is drywall so mold is a possibility, although I will be moving in about 4 months. So honestly I don't give a shit. The temperature in the closet is about 71 degrees when lights are off, inside the tent during daytime its about anywhere between 82-86. Also there Is no window in the bedroom or closet. I'm basically just using the houses a/c as the "fresh" air. Not too sure where the bathroom exhaust vents to BTW not sure why that matters. One more question...when I vent this out is it more important to vent the tent or vent the cool tube. Obviously more heat comes from the light

Do the recessed light fixtures have air flow vents or something? How would the heat flow through the fixture? And do I have to worry about fires? I'd imagine not since the light bulb produces heat itself

Well I was smoking a bowl while signing up for the website again, laying in bed with my girlfriend. I farted and hit the bowl and I said "I farted" she said just use that ! Then I added the 420. It's a pretty stupid name but I wasn't too concerned Lol.

Reason I ask about the exhaust fan is I would take it apart and use that vent as your exterior exhaust. I would connect that to your fan. It's important to exhaust both. Exhausting the light cools the light but not the radiant heat it gives off. Gotta cool both. I would cool the basement down a bit.

Well that's kinda what I planned on doing if the recessed lighting idea wouldn't work, its basically last resort. I'm worried about light leaks having it in the middle of the bedroom plus its a little more secluded in the closet. If I am able to vent it through the lights that's the way I wanna go. I just need to know that it will work. I doubt a 600 watt light would cause a fire. The air coming from the cool tube isn't THAT hot.
