Quick question, does tip browning happen right before rooting on cuttings?

I've noticed it seems to happen around day 6-7 and then by day 9 I have roots.

Coincidence or the plant using some leaf to make roots?

My soil is mixed up and ready to go.

3 Gallon pro- mix
1 gallon perlite
5 cups EWC
6 TBSP Azomite
1.75 cups Garden Tone.

Opened my bin today and saw some fuzzies up top. That just the promix, EWC and azomite. Nice and earthy smelling in there too.

Mixed in my Garden tone today. Going to be transplanting my clones in a bit.

12/12 week 5 - Raspberry Montage x BBP

Having some issues with the gals. Nothing Emergency. I sun faded some top leaves I had thought. Part of my is thinking they are short on Potassium tho. I have been using Magnesium sulfate for a while because they were so hungry for mag. I think I am gonna take the magnesium sulfate out of the equation and just feed them .6tsp bloom for a 20% increase in K and a 10% reduction of magnesium.

The back right girl looks the worst. I think she is also the slowest draining gal of the lot. She may need a bit of flushing. maybe some salt build up around her roots. I'm going to switch the nutes on all of them, but pay special attention to her with an additional gallon to push out whatever is in there.

Clones are in the soil. I will take pictures tonight. Hoping to see them saluting when I come back downstairs.

They are under 400w 2 ft away. After next watering I will lower the light a couple inches.

I just go off the way the plant is looking, around every 7-10 days (veg) in (flower) I wait till around the 4-6 week mark..on a 10 week run.
Cool Cool. I am going to buy an air pump here soon. Any suggestions for a five gallon bucket EWC AACT?

Waiting for the lights to come on today. I watered with plain water yesterday and checked the phone of in put and run off. Only a .5- 1 drop in ph. Which I have read is normal.

So there is not much salt build up. I will be dropping the magnesium sulfate for next watering most likely. It might be causing potassium lockout.

I am also going to ph at 7.0 since I know the soil drops it .5 to 1. I have been ph ing at 6.0 and a 1 drop from that could be causing the slowing of uptake as well

I'll be posting some pictures in 2.5 hours.

Having that vent open in the basement has made a big difference!

So glad I won't have to run electric heat this winter.

My humidifier wicks should be here today so I can raise the humidity from 30 to 40%.

I spent the past couple days cleaning my basement and organizing everything. It's amazing how much clearing the floor and using vertical space can make the room seem larger.

I live in Northern California, Humidity generally 20-30%, I have never felt the need for humidifier or dehumidifier in my tents, Am I missing an opportunity, getting good 3.5 to 4 ozs off single 600, 4 plants in 4 x4x7.5 tent. mainly growing Blue Dream.
