yeah, i had a cheap RO system but being on a well, it wasted way too much water in my opinion.

i think 300 total should be fine for veg.

do you know how to "read" your ppm meter to see how they are feeding?

I thought about pumping in the waste water and just keep reusing it and then adding a little more for the pump to ro. You think it's bad for filters or not a bad idea ? I'm trying to figure out about possibly running 50ft or so of line from the ro to my room, will that work even though it just comes out drops at a time ? I'll be going downstairs up to the loft

sure.
let's say you start your res out at 300ppm. let's say 12hrs later, it's 250. so you know that 300 was too weak. or it went up to 320. then it's too strong and they were drinking more than they were eating. if its still 300, then you know it was perfect. they were eating and drinking equal amounts. make sense?

Well I will take another reading and see where we are at throughout the week. Topping off will make my ppm go down some right. So just take new readings after I top off ?

either way. if you have the time, make a quick chart. day1= ? ppm, etc. you'll see a pattern develop. usually during stretch they eat like crazy. last few weeks of flower will slow down eating a bit. you can then develop your own feeding schedule for the next batch.

I'm not reading 4 pages but you've checked for bugs right with a scope? Damage to new growth first like this sure does scream Broadmites if you haven't checked… any clawing should be checked for BM right away, especially for a novice grower… those fuckers once doing damage are a fucking nightmare!!
