Cleaning up the lower branches and defoliation are not the same....then I admit I dont understand the concept of defoliation
personally I think it helps to take some off. Maybe I'm wrongLike a mongo frog said..not defoliated for sure and the buds look sweet...if they are making up for it in yield, then maybe there is something to taking things off?

no worries, just trying to find better ways of doing things. and if indeed I do something wrong I like to make sure so that I can fix itMrStickyScissors...didnt mean that in a bad way, seems you found a balance on what to take off...

It worked for you, so that made it right... thats kinda why I asked the question to start to see if anyone did anything like defoliation, wasnt trying to find right or wrong, just seeing if it worked... so many people and so many views... your practice works for you and it conveniences me to try or maybe try more.I am not looking to be right. but I would really like to know for sure if it is good or not good
im going to search my old posts so I can find this thread for you its the only reason why i even considered trying itIt worked for you, so that made it right... thats kinda why I asked the question to start to see if anyone did anything like defoliation, wasnt trying to find right or wrong, just seeing if it worked... so many people and so many views... your practice works for you and it conveniences me to try or maybe try more.

Good philosophy and one I think a lot here share, at least me... always looking for way to do things better, push the limits and correct my wrongs to get better... a man who says he makes no mistakes is a liar, a man who admits his mistakes and learns from them will prosper and growno worries, just trying to find better ways of doing things. and if indeed I do something wrong I like to make sure so that I can fix it

Thanks MrStickyScissors..that was a great read and good yield... I think I see why it worked for him, shear density... his plant count was huge, but it lends itself to working even without the density... I may try a combo of what you do and what was done in the post when I put mine into flower since they are such a bush monster... tons of potential bud sites on mine, but I fear the light just wont get there, even with side lighting...https://www.icmag.com/ic/showthread.php?t=304167 thats the same thread that was on here same pics. check it out scroll down an look at the pics he post tell the end of the crop.

Nice, oh to have a grow like that.... ten feet tall would be amazing, what was the yield or what do you think it will be?I scrogged the back of my greenhouse and the bottom three feet were picked clean. Some were ten feet tall. View attachment 3525406View attachment 3525407 View attachment 3525408
