Hi all, Im not advanced its my 1st grow, I'm pondering trying something out with nutes.

I'm thinking if I change my feeds from canna A/B with a bloom additive, to something like
formulex with the same bloom additive?

My reason being Im worried they are going to get too tall.

At mo I'm about 4th week of flowering, they are strong and healthy with small buds formed where I want them etc.

I'm hand watering 5plants in each tent (2) northern lights strain under 600w hps.

the NPK values for canna A/B = 5-4-3
formulex = 2.3 - 0.9 - 3.4

bloomer headmaster superior potash - 0 - 14 - 22


The 'N' in A/B is higher than 'N' in formulex so wondered would the change slow down height and hopefully extra growth would be bud growth as opposed to stem? Any tips or personal oppinions or prefferances are welcome. Thanks all in advance

Not sure if changing nutes will help. 4 weeks of flowering they should be just about done stretching. I've heard cooler night temps will help with stretching.

Keep the higher N Canna = They are much better formulated for MJ!

I wouldn't use the "booster" till week 6.

I might consider using it a half strength but not higher till wk6

im not sure if its a booster as such, bottle says use the first 7 weeks of flowering period. Which made sense to me as Id use it for 6. Then pk 13-14 for the 7th week which wld give me about 2 weeks of flush before harvest. I'll stick to canna though as you both pointed out. thank you guys..
