Flip 12/12 yet?

I've got 17"-22" of vertical space right now, before they would hit the filter and light. Possible lower branches for cloning are only 2" right now. Should I flip now and clone when branches are 3"-5", about week 2 of flower? Or veg some more? OGK (front left) & JCOG (back) are larger than BTOG (front right). BTOG may catch up in flower, but doubtful. I've got 4 tops on BTOG and OGK. JCOG only has one top (branch broke). I don't want to run out of vertical space by vegging too long. I'm running out of room to spread them and keep them low.

What do you think? Flip them now? :peace:

It looks to me that if u flip them now it will fill the space nice.
Also relevant is square footage of your floor, pot size they are in, and what size light.
It looks like a 3x3 with five gallon pots. In my opinion should have at least a 400 hid...

2'x2'. 150w hps. Can't go more than 150w or else heat issues. I was thinking of trying a 250w dimmable (if there is such a thing). Pot size is two 3 gal, and one 2.5 gal.

Id give it a week and not take clones in flower. Take clones in veg whenever possible. They just make better clones. Im surprised nobody has mentioned that to you. Flower whenever ya want but i like fn full spaces, like real fn full :):):)

True, I mainline as well and I am in TROUBLE right now.
I will have to incorporate some LST as well as super cropping, I'm SURE !
ONE week into flower..... 15 main colas (broke one) and a few nice side branches !

Yep, I hear ya! I hate cloning in flower. I've done it before, and swore never again! Just was concerned about the vertical space. Thanks for the feedback.

Holy shit fish death. You are in trouble right now. You have the opposite problem as the OP. Wayyy too full in there. Can you lower your screen like 8 inches? That would work if you could do it.

I've wanted to switch to hydro eventually. I can fit four 3-gal pots in my space. I was thinking three individual plants in a single net-pot/lid for 3 of the containers, then the 4th container as the reservoir, and link them up. Would that be lame, or would that work? Or is that just a waste of a 3-gal container? I'll have to keep reading and get a better understanding.

Even numbers always work better but in a small space dwc plants grow so fast and vast, that one is usually enough. Itll fill the screen in no time and with the training skills youve learned already youll surely have no problem filling that screen. The hard thing is doing rez changes. You need to drop the rez bucket down or lift the plant up. This can pose a problem if you dont have vertical room.

I don't like it when my grow turns into a jungle. I've been getting bigger yields and nicer buds by flipping a little sooner anticipating at least a double in size after the flip.full buds from top to bottom after lollipopping .
You do get exponential growth with longer veg time, but will need a big enough light to do that. I've never used a 150w. But if that was my setup, I would flip them bitches ;-)

Well, it is what it is now.
I have a little room to move things around, It will be fun... but manageable.
This should be a bumper crop compared to my first 2.
Got all the bugs worked out and it is almost on auto pilot !

Yep. I was thinking doing the wire tomato cage support, maybe attached to the lid, so I could make those red changes, dwc. Right now, my netting hooks to the corners of the cab.

I'm still waiting! Waiting for decent clones from all three. Might even pull some after the flip, might as well. Getting there! I think one more week. Will update Journal on Friday with pics. They are looking good though, after first feeding of Grow last watering.
