Help choosing lights.

I'm going to upgrade my grow room and am leaning toward CFLs over these LEDs. My grow space is
2ftx2ftx8ft. I'm ether going to buy 2 sets of these LEDs or 4 100 watt equivalent CFLs. I also want to know what is the max watts I should put in my grow room. No matter what I do I'm going to upgrade more slowly. If I do CFLs I'm going to get 2 100 watts every time I get paid or 1 set of strips. Any advice is nice.

I'm not familiar with leds but CFLs work for veg, I just finished using them. I'm using an hps for flowering though, combined with a few CFLs. Research leds and CFLs, lots of videos on YouTube and see which ones people used in there equivalent space and go with what's best for you. Either way you can grow.

I would avoid those led myself. Just looks sketchy to me. I could be wrong, might be the next best thing, I'm not gonna test them though.

Cfl over led ???? Why

That's like choosing a black n white T.V. over a HDTV or vhs over blue Ray... Don't be a fool .

you just dont get that vhs scracthyness on blu ray though....

in all honesty I would say save your money for a few checks and buy something substantial. if your upgrading with 24 watt cfls what do you use for light now?

Right know I have a 60 watt 6500k CFL for veg and I just ordered a 150 watt to replace it and I also ordered 3 150 watt 2700k CFLs for flowering. I changed my grow I'm using a "high-pod" setup I'm going to make a grow journal once I have everything set up. ill post a link once I make it.

ah I see. keep in mind rhat the big cfls aren't as efficient as the smaller ones. personally I think anything over 42 watt cfls is a waste. next time your in the store wjere you get your bulbs and check out the output differences (requires some math haha). before I chamged to hid I used cfl and my big 125w cfl was pretty dissappointing.
