Seedlings Need Advise

Hey Guys Just Wanted To Know If My Seedlings Are Ok This Is My First Time Growing Its Day 8 For Them Im Growing ak47 females right now I have them on 500 watts got them on fox farm ocean forest soil and I've been PHing my water to 6.5 I just notice today my light schedule was on 16/8 I just changed it today to 18/6

They look great at this stage, 16/8 is fine for veg but most growers veg under 18/6 or 24/0

could top the put up with a little more soil and drop the light a light a few iches as sunni said, great advice

Heres my setup

Growblu Tent 2.5ft Wide 5ft Long 6.5ft Tall
2 6" Ventech 440CFM Inline Fans
2 Ventech Fan Controllers
XXXL Magnum 6" Air Cooled Hood
8 Socket Power Circuit Protector With Timer
1000 watt yieldlab ballast and 1000 watt yieldlab bulb

By the way here's the picture of the hood distance to the seedlings how much should I drop I current have the ballast to 50% pushing out 500 watts

not sure a 1kw lights going to work in a 2.5ft x 5ft room going to get really hot in that room,

hope it does but the light is designed for a 5ft x 5ft room

As @jacksthc said, beware of the heat from a 1000 watt hps. I have a 6 x 6 area with a/c and it's hard to keep the room below 79.

on the 500w setting i would keep the hood 14" above the seedlings but that also depends on the temputer in the room
you need to keep the temputer (where the seedling are between 25-35c) 30c is the ideal temps in veg IMO
any higher could kill them

750w should work in flower, good ideal, 500w is the max you need in veg

tent too small for that nice hood have same size tent with 8 bulb T5 4 foot hits low 80's in tent

Nice I also have the same here but i haven't used it yet thinking about using them but from what I see people are saying if you want fast veg growth to go with HIDS is this true which works best for the best results

i veg with the t5 say same as a 400 watt all plants are at different times some get huge in 8/9 weeks and flower in a 5 x 5 tent... have new tent got today 4 x 8 they forgot to ship my lite going with 2 600's 33 x 26 inch hoods not as nice as your's mine is a cool tube

if the heat not over 80 with hid well grow faster.. i need the time to grow slower flower tent gets full like now Lol...have 3 in flower 7 in veg.

Might need to get a dehumidifier at night when the lights shuts off my humidity goes up at day time my temp stays at 75 degrees at 50% humidity when lights shut off temp goes to 60's and humidity goes up to 70's Highest it went to was 80 not good

same here i use a dehumidifier and have all fan on 24 7 got it down to the low 50's

Any suggestions on here should i keep the 500 watt on the xxxl or should i use my 4ft 8 bulb T5's
