This are crappy chinese epistar 8x8 cobs, real power maybe 200-250w. Causes bleeching at lower distances! Not much efficiency! Maybe 25-30%!

So has any1 actually used these panels or are u just basing that on it being Chinese? It doesn't say made in USA on the ad.... it says shipping from US stock, meaning they have a warehouse here they ship from, and they do ship fast, I've been using these for quite some time, been waiting for them to come up in a thread, just to see what people say, I'll be the first to say that they aren't the greatest lights out there but I will say that in comparison to other led panels ranging from 3w diodes to 8w diodes that these are in fact far superior to any I have used or seen (in person) before, I run 2 in a 24"x48"x73" tent, advertised 220w +/-3% is accurate power draw per light, and they will produce a decent yield and will grow bud just fine, they aren't the quietest LEDs I've ever owned, but they aren't exactly loud either, in the 6 months I've been using them, (1 1/4 cycles roughly) I haven't been dissapointed by any means, I grow for personal and they work for me, but if you're out for growing for quantity im sure theres better.... but just because they are chinese made doesnt mean they dont work.

Ok, let me put it like this... Just because you've only been banging 6's your entire life, and you finally get an 8, that doesn't mean she's a 10.

We have the unique opportunity when advising someone before they spend money. And if the cost difference is negligible to minimal, why settle when you can invest some energy and have that 10?

lol i didnt say they were a 10, and i didnt advise him to buy it, i simply stated that they do work, like i said i own 2 and they do a decent enough job for me, as far as a year before the chip burns out well... I couldnt tell ya, havent had them for a year, ones 8 months old and one is about 6 months old, all i was saying is what I can say from my experience with them, and my experience with them hasn't been bad, unlike my experiences with other Chinese manufacturers, lighthouse hydro, joyhydro, mars, koties, and stealthgrow.... Hell I like these better than my lushlighting unit that scrapped out in 7 months, true I got another from them free of charge and that unit works fine, (although as of now it's on the sidelines as a backup) and also I'm not running a full tent most of the time, 4 plants is tops for me, I never said he couldn't do better, I simply said they do work, they are capable of the full life span and can do a decent job, he wanted a opinion I figured I could give my honest feedback from actual experience with them and not just saying oh it's Chinese so it's shitty.....

you mean you learned the hard way like me ?

I purchased 7 of the multispectrum arrays of 3w chips (ie cheap Chinese multi spectrum cobs) over a years period.. I have one operational unit left, and that one was a replacement unit, when I bitched at apollo because the supposed wattage at the plug wasn't what was published.

Since last year I have been building my own lights as time permits, and have almost managed to replace them. what a friggin waste of $$$.

petflora tried to warn, but I didn't listen.

Yes, it was more a big waste of money way. I bought some prebuilt blurple lights at first. Not much oomph to them.

They are all the same light, questionable output, questionable components. No answers, terrible warranties. The light companies and DIY components that are used around here are known commodities. That's it. Your light not so much. If you have Cree CXB, you might shit your pants in ecstasy....

I went from a similar units using 350-400PPFD and increased to 700+ PPFD and couldn't be happier. There's your clue. This topic has been beat TO DEATH....literally @REALSTYLES
