The seeds are now in the window getting sunlight

My ratchet thing snapped and I need to get another one from shops tomorrow so for the next day and a half they will be in the window.

I'm using bio-bizz all-mix medium, and just moist the soil put the seeds In about 1/4 - 1/2 an inch down then put abit more water over the top of them now in the window getting the sunlight.

Will I need water these again tomorrow or are seedlings good for a couple of days?

Thanks

I was under the impression that if they didn't sink the first 5 min. That they are not volatile and will not sprout no matter what you do. But I am an amateur and don't know as much as others. Is there anyone that can clear this up? Thank you in advance.
No, this isn't true. Not something you need to worry about. I soak for 6-8 hours before moving to paper towels and once in a while there will still be a floater. In my experience, it doesn't seem to matter and they crack as well as others.

Yeah mine never sunk after 24hrs in water then they cracked about 24hrs after in paper

Next time I'll just put them in water for a few hours then go straight into paper

No you prob don't need to water for a week. Wait until you can stick a finger in and it's dry to the first joint.

Biggest mistake when starting out is over watering.

Cannabis can easily handle a drought, but not a flood.

At the beginning I only water once a week.

No, generally I let them soak 12-24 hours. Been doing it a while. Good non chlorinated water in a coffee mug and covered with anything to be dark. Most of the seeds will have sunk to the bottom showing they seed has absorbed the water. They may just be starting to crack. Plant the seeds a quarter to half inch deep in your soil and they should start to sprout in a day or so. Hard to crack seeds can be gently scraped with an Emory file, then proceed to soak.

I have never had one sink right away, after 24 hours and a tap on them usually does it for me

This is one of those led vs hid talks, everyone has different ways and their theories, is anyone wrong, probably not, if it works it works. And most do.

Last ones I did, I put them in a shot glass for 20 hours, shells barley split. Took them out, dropped them in starter soil, got them wet (giggity) threw them on the kitchen sink... and they popped out today.
Have them under a 150w cfl now till rhey need a bigger home...

KISS.... it will drive ya nuts if ya don't

Do yourself a favor, forget all the "sprout em fast" crap...get some rapid rooter plugs and put the seed in, take a small piece of the rapid rooter plug off the bottom and place it over the hole you put the seed in to block the light, moisten it and wait....if it starts to get dry moisten it again....not water, just moisten with a couple squirts from a hand sprayer (kinda like the ones glass cleaner comes in, but dont use one that had a chemical in it) 4-7 days you should have sprouts....once you have decent roots growing out of the bottom plant it in you soil or medium of choice...keep the lighting good do they dont stretch....

Okay all above are good methods but I'll tell you the method I use it might help u need your beans a role of paper towels I use bounty they hold the water better a spray bottle a glass plate and some distilled water at room temp and a 1 gallon zip lock bag or saran wrap the sticky kid that you put over food and that's it fold 1 paper towel hot dog style then hamburger style place the paper towel on the glass plate and then mist one half with the room temp water and the spray bottle place your seeds on the wet half and fold the dry half over it and the saturate with the spray bottle and make sure the two halves of the paper are stuck together by gently making sure the two halves are in complete contact by applying a small amount of pressure with your hand the hold the plate over a sink or bowl and tip it side ways so all the excess water runs off it will stop draining and still be wet then place in gallon zip lock bag take 1 finger and press the middle of the bag and make it touch the paper towel do not zip the bag and place it on a heating pad and cover with a bowl that no light will pass through and turn the heating pad all night turn off in the morning wait till night and if the beans haven't popped turn the heating pad on again and repeat daily check often making sure the paper towel is wet some beans may take up to two weeks to germ ND usually grow poorly good beans will germ over night I grow a seed crop yearly to keep fresh beans I got a 10 for 10 germ over night from this year's blue og seed crop I was only gonna do 5 and had to throw some away
