Now that Kevin Mc Carthy doesn't want Boehner's job, who do you think will be the next speaker? Why?

There are a lot of VERY rich liberals who can afford a Tesla. I seriously doubt if our resident keybanger is one of them. :)

Me? I'll stick with Lexus - luxury, value, and the best reliability in the automobile industry.
It's ironic that only the rich can afford these yet there are still thousands of dollars in tax incentives. I thought we were against giving rich tax breaks. Some here even call tax breaks welfare when it concerns the rich.

the idea is to incentivize positive externalities and punish negative externalities.

hence why there is a tax break on energy efficient cars, appliances, and the like.

perhaps you are too stupid to understand this, but the rest of us aren't.

gas prices were 1.89$ average when Obama took office. Most people with half a brain knew that a vote for Obama would mean 8 years of shit getting worse, and then blame bush for it all. What good is Obama, if every policy he puts in place is bush's fault? Doesn't sound like something a leader would do.

I paid $1.97 today but what does that mean, we were losing jobs months after Bush left office I guess that was Obamas fault huh?

Our political situation reminds me of an airplane pilot with vertigo- stuck on turning right ever more tightly in hopes that will avert the catastrophe, when just straightening out would do wonders. I really, really hate the idea of a crash. I'm a Bernie fan because he's a step in the opposite direction.

We'll see if enough other people are also tired of the endless right wing death spiral.

It means you've paid less I have in the past 7 years. slow economy, and a recession is one big reason the price of gas went down before Obama ever took office. What are you trying to argue about? Bush sucked, Obama sucks, they both suck. Any more questions?

You tell me, what does the price of gas (here in America) has to do with our President he does not control the spigot, oil is a globally traded commodity. That is an OPEC commodity the prices are set by supply and demand and how much OPEC is willing to flood the market with oil or close the spigot.

You also suggested folks who voted for Obama knew that things were going to get worst for the next 8 years, these were you words, not mine. I really don't think folks voted for Obama expecting worst conditions than what we were already in, that is totally ridiculous! Things are much better now than 8 years ago, not great but better so the notion that things are worst now is false.

Obama, IMO and many others especially on the right, has lowered the USA brand, somewhat, globally
Especially with countries that are so called allies of ours, we had 18 individuals who came from the country of our biggest allie in the middle east attack us on our soil.

Lets face it, American voters have short memories. When W was President people begged for change otherwise we would've wound up with Hillary 2008, forget Mc Cain and Palin the Repulican brand was dead in this country. Obama offered change and folks wanted/needed change.

You said " What good is Obama, if every policy he puts in place it's Bush's fault?" WTF Obama hasn't put any policy forward that has been blamed on Bush unless you listen to right wing media.

America can do better we know that, but are we better now economically than 2008? Hell yeah!
Thanks to Obama, boy the righties hate hearing that, but its a fact!
Go Obama!

No. I suggested people who didn't vote for Obama, expected things to get worse. You're still trying to get me to defend George bush, and now what? the world Trade Center attack? and then what, his little brother too? I could go on and on about how Obama has expanded Bush's Patriot act to focus more attention on american citizens, and less on potential terrorists. All while releasing terrorists from Gitmo. But what would be the point? Obamas not running for a third term... The best part about him leaving office, will be how bad you miss your daddy.
