Strain: Nepalese Highland
Breeder: Cannabiogen
Smell 6 : Piney and spicy, pretty nice
Taste 6 : Like the smell with and earthy aftertaste
Potency 7.5 : Only takes a little to get you medicated for hours
Effect 7: Nice Sativa buzz. Not recommended for evening, but a good day-time strain
Overall 7: totally decent smoke. Just didn't yield, very light buds. It's a landrace sativa, and I'm sure it would have done better near its' climate of orgin (Nepal). I wanted to try and exotic sativa, and must say she was still worth the long flowering time. Good Potency :bigjoint:

Yea, thats a classic nepalease highland. Not a heavy yeilder at all, very whispy but nice hashy smell (not skunky). LIke it was bred for a hooka bar. Great converstion smoke.

Kudos on taking the time, its a great exotic headstash to have on hand. Just takes about 11/12+ weeks like all landraces. I grow one every other year or so just for the novelty.

Thanks for the report. I am just starting this strain and having problems with vigor of the seedlings. I do not know if they will make it even. They are stuck at 2 inches and 1 leafset for now. I guess they will come around or at least some of them.

They were tiny seeds right? I got them at Herbies and trust they are as advertised.

Got mine from herbies also. Cannabiogen is the breeder. Out of 5 fem seeds only one popped. Early on I got my seedlings mixed up, and had the Nepali mislabeled as an Indica I had going. After a while it became clear that this is the N.H. so I was pretty thrilled . She grew very easily with basic nutrients and a Long, slow flowering time. Composted soil with fish emulsion for veg. then switched to Earth Juice bloom. She did well with just basic care. I can't imagine why yours are not performing for you.:?:. Do you have any pics?

No pics, nothing to see yet. Just immature seedlings with one leaf set inch or two across and 1 or 2 inches tall. I about killed the first batch as I applied cedar oil to the soil to kill the gnats. It works great on plants that are bigger but had all the little sprouts laying flat on the dirt. I replanted but do not know if the root system is fucked.

I germed a few new Nepalese too, so they might make it if the older ones do not grow.

Damn bro, sounds like you're off to a rough start. You can look at the roots anytime. Just be careful no to damage them. You might want to flush with plain water to get that cedar oil out. Another less "invasive" way I observe my root function is to place seedlings close to a CFL (for example) and bottom -water the tray. After a short while you will notice the seedlings "energizing" and "cupping leaves" toward the light. They should begin soaking up the water they are standing in. This stimulates their natural capillary action, so if your roots are intact and healthy, all should be well. Happy growing :joint:
