I dont think its a lack of supply or demand. We get what we want, when we want it, and Americans love to want stuff and buy it too. You'd think people would run out of material shit to desire.

Living in a land of credit spending someone else`s money sounds good on paper.
I agree, personal debt and warmongering.

Not a damn thing. We're all walking around with iPhones, driving newer vehicles, eating steak and wasting money all over the place. The only problem is in the perception of people's minds. They see someone else has something a little bit better than they got and they get all whiny and pitiful like they are entitled to have more. Murica.

However. I do agree that there is a problem with wealth distribution. Don't matter though. People are greedy. They waste there lives wanting more more more.

Funny... the people I talk to have cheap phones and ride their bike because they can afford neither an iPhone or a car. They eat beans and rice with their kids because steak is too expensive.

Waste? Speak for yourself! None of my friends are wasteful, they can't afford it!

I think you live in a prison made of your own self delusions.

Try talking to people on the real world- the one you may not inhabit.

What's wrong with our economy is simply that we've handed political power to the money. What happens next is in all the history books, under 'revolution and ruin.'

America is NOT IMMUNE to the imperatives of history.

Solving the problem is conceptually simple, thornier in practice; remove the influence of money from political affairs wherever it may be found. The rest will fall into place.

the wealth consolidation will continue and likely more rapidly and revolution will be the result. What else?

The only other option is that We the People assert our power over the Federal Government and drive the corruption out.

Look, just because we've legalized practices that even in kindergarten would be rightly called corrupt doesn't make the activities themselves any less corrosive to the country as a while.

'Tragedy of the Commons' is going to be the epitaph of our country if we don't reign in rampant greed and lust for power.

And it's up to us. You, @Rrog, and me, and every other CITIZEN of this country. No one else. We can't phone this one in, can't let 'someone else' show up to be arrested at the protest march.
