If you are really really gentle, you can wash your rootball off and place it into new soil. It is fairly stressing on your plants though so you may want to let them stay in veg another week or so after doing this.
If you are going to do it, take the plant out of its pot, put the rootball under slow running water, and let the water wash the soil away. Then gently set the plant into its new pot. Place the soil all around the root ball, being SUPER careful. Once this is done, water the plant well. Any air pockets should go away after this and you can fill the holes with soil. Then water again, and you should be fine.
As long as you are using a quality soil, it wont matter how much water you put through the pots at one time, you will not over water. Only if you water too often will you over water.

it`s not worthit for you, your to far in and wouldn`t benefit you.
iy will harm the other persons end result but oh well, well it shows you need to read before starting. there should be a sticky warning new growers about mg and schultz soil and nutes

A quality soil would be something like Fox Farms Ocean Forest. If you are not near a hydro store, than you would have to order it.
For a not so quality, but better than MG with its time release, I would reccomend Super Soil in the brown bag from Home Depot. Just make sure you add about 30-40% perlite as this soil has none in it and like to compact and stay super wet without the perlite. I used this soil for about a year and a half before switching to Ocean Forest. I had decent results with it. You may also want to add some lime to soil as well for a pH buffer.

yo my plant did not burn up like the last time i flushed it bud it has some burns on the top bud:cry: some new growth of buds have yellow tips but im watching it very carefully so my buds will not burn before i know it. ill probably put it in a dark room for 2 days before i chop down? what do you guys think?

I usually only give 24hrs of darkness before harvest, but that is just me. Some give more, some don't give any. Its kind of just a preference.

i read a study from some german scientists that stated that up to 72 hours dark can increase potency of some chemicals in the plant by up to 30%.
i did this at different dark times on my last grow and did find a difference

Just my experience, but I don't like to leave my plants in the dark for any more than 24hrs. If I leave them for longer than that, they begin to get a weird texture to the buds and the leaves are harder to remove. Like I said, this is just my experience, so it may just be the strains I grow, my grow room, etc. But I prefer only 24hrs of light.

Thats why I was sure to put in there that its just my experience and preference. Many factors play into the different ways people do things. What works great for me may suck for you, and vise versa. Thats why I like the forums, you can get more than one point of view and see things from different angles.

chopped my plant today, i didnt have time to put it under darkness or else it probably would have looked like a burnt tree! some buds were badly burnt, are they still smokable? probably taste like shit huh? the soil was still pretty wet when i chopped it so im guess my buds are wet. doesnt look too good, i should have chopped it 2 days ago when it was still green:evil: now im going to dry this outside in a shoe box or something because im at my parents house...is that ok?

it sounds like it was kind of a bust this time so if you have to do this outside keep it under cover and i would even chop it up into smaller pieces to fry faster or it might mold outside. it`s probably not going to taste that good with all the mess anyway

wow, ive been away for awhile. bonz you still chattin up this forum?? interesting convos you people have goin. anyways, my plant, doing great. its turnin out better than i can imagin. if anyones still payin attention to this thread, let me no n i can post some new pictures. THERES CRYSTAL EVERYWHERE!!! :)
