One wilted branch...?

Hey all. First grow... Plant looks great and is finishing up 6th week of flower... While feeding tonight noticed one lower branch with smaller buds was wilted... Hairs had turned reddish brown and the stem doesn't look healthy.. Rest of plant looks great but should one dying branch be concerned? What should I do with it? Cut off? If so, how do I make sure nothing worse happens from exposed part? All knowledge is much appreciated!!

Cut it off well away from the main stem. It will heal just fine.

Cut the bad branch off don't touch ANYTHING else. Clean tools off and wash hands look for more. A picture speaks a thousand words brother.

Well maybe I'll cut back a bit to be safe? I have 3 fans in the tent... One oscillating and the other two circulating... Then have a large suction fan out, and a pretty decent fan blowing air in so humidity has been getting as low as 35-40 before waterings but typically stays from 40-50... Been watering on average every 3-4 days but last few had been a bit more frequent... Like 2.5-3 days because seemed the soil was drying faster...

Let it dry out. You will see her droop and stay droopy when she needs water. The pic looks like you have. The first few inches? Where are the roots at? Also make sure of adequate drainage for your container. If water is retained at the bottom it can keep her watered while you are feeling the very top. When she finally droops a bit pick the container up before adding water. Then add your water and pick her up again.

Thanks! I've been using smart pots so doubt drainage is issue... How would I tell where roots are? So I should be letting her get dry enough to drop in flower too? I've been picking the pots up before watering and they definitely are lighter than after water. Just fed them last night

Well the roots in plants generally head toward the center of the earth.Under the influence of gravity. Think of the entire root system in your pot. The first few inches dry out quicker in part due to insensible evaporation into the room air.

I prefer mixing it into the soil or whatever I'm using at the time (coir/verm at the moment.) but I sometimes forget and just put it on top.
