What really killed it was the other issue, regarding the 10 groups that were to run large farms to supply the 1150 pot stores that were expected to open. People didn't like the monopoly issue regarding that....

And it lost by a WIDE margin, so it's not going to happen any time soon, if ever.

Same thing happened in Oregon. The people didn't like how the law was written and it failed the first time. Then they rewrite the law and it passed. No big surprise.

That is true, I was just remembering how felt the first time it lost,
I did not look into the ohio law at all, its also strange how the black market usually votes not to legalize, they want to keep thier mortgage cash cow alive,, sad but true

There will always be a black market, whether pot is legal or not because they can price it lower, sometimes 1/2 to 1/3 cheaper because they don't have to pay taxes, payroll, government fees and licenses, etc., etc. As an example, N.J. stores are selling their 10% THC products for around $450 (or a bit higher with taxes) and the high end dealer can charge 300-350 and still make a killing.

Its not good enough for the medical patients in my opinion. You can only grow 4 total plants? Thats weak shit, many patients will end up still breaking the law by exceeding plant count.
