appreciate it fellas! I'm still struggling with being allowed to post on the myco-tek site Pinhead? I am probably being incredibly dense tbf:eyesmoke:
Sup Don.... You're not being dense... You probably just tried posting in the 'emporium'? That forum only the admin account has edit/post permissions since it is our advertising area...
The emporium is just where all the sponsored links, banners, supporter account info, etc are located.
The sponsors forum right below it is where sponsors post threads if they are running sales, promotions, etc.

The rest of the forums aside form the emporium are open for you to post... Since you have a supporter account you can actually post in the supporter forum too which non supporters are not allowed to even view...

I went into the admin panel and logged in under your account to check to see if you could post to confirm and I was able to make a couple test posts... I sent you a password reset via email notification so to log back in you'll have to retrieve the new one...
posting everywhere else will be exactly the same as it is over here over there.....

We use the same software as RIU (xenforo)...
We migrated from VBulletin about 6 months prior to RIU leaving VB..... That software company took a nosedive when they went corporate... . >:(

Its all good bro... no rush.. You don't have to post if you don't want to or don't have time. Its no biggie either way. I know life is a very busy experience...

I rarely post myself over there. I use the chat box more than threads over there because it is a lot faster if you are just trying to catch up with folks...
I'm just glad to get a hold of the BB genetics and to try and turn some more people on to them as well from the site....

Jd popped in there yesterday and gave a shout out on the BB thread and posted a few plants he's got going... I'll pop a few myself tomorrow.......

Any of you guys are always welcome over there. We got a lot of great info on growing mushrooms for sure. Anything you'd ever need to know about it is there.
I've got over a decade experience. Got things pretty well figured out at this point....

It hadn't occurred to me to mention that. bongsmilie

Under the lid is tap water with seeds floating in the cups..I do it to keep light out of the cups and keep the area on the hulls not submerged in an environment with slightly higher humidity.

I soak them until the hulls soften and open and they sink. I don't let the tap root come out in the water tho, I only soak as a means to hydrate the hulls so I can get away with a field capacity germination medium. Too much water and seedlings is very bad when popping them in soil organically.

I keep an eye on them throughout the day after tossing them in the water and as they sink I scoop them out and plant them about 1/2" deep in very lightly packed and sterilized organic seed start soil moistened to field capacity. I sterilize the soil in the microwave prior to planting and after planting gently water each cup 10 ml per cup per day using a syringe with chlorinated tap water for a few days. They go under 400 watts of MH 24" away as soon as they are planted... I use HID lighting throughout the whole growth process from the moment they sprout until they are harvested. I don't add any microbes and keep the soil as sterile as possible until I see cotyledon leaves and the shells are off, which is usually day 3 like clock work.....

I used to use rooters but I would lose seedlings now and again this way and I never lose any with the method I just described. The other contributing factor to my high germ rate aside from the sterile soil and chlorinated water for the first few days I attribute to not using a dome. Moving air is a good thing. It keeps the environment from being over run by bacteria and molds which can cause big problems with newly sprouted seedlings...

that awesome PinHead! thats a really interesting way of germinating. I really never heard of your method before, fascinating. Your work environment is impeccably clean and your clones look very healthy.

Yea man, I take it a bit over the top on the cleaniness factor. I think I get it from my over decade experience as a mycologist and before that I worked at at Umass in the energy metabolism lab for 5 years studying type two diabetes. I was taught to be very thorough with everything. I have a BS from Umass in kinesiology which is a premed degree so I got a pretty good grasp on all the different kingdoms of life over the span of my education.... It sure helps when you decide to grow organic cannabis to have that kind of a science background....

Out of the two Fireball phenos I flowered out, the low yielding runt is the one everyone seems to like the most. I set aside what little I have left of it for my personal head stash.

It's a very uplifting day time smoke, great for morning sessions but gets more body high to it if you overindulge (complete opposite of the other pheno which is body high all the way). The smell comes through in the flavor very well, sweet on the inhale with a funky chem flavor on exhale.
