going to grow a green crack under 200w ds led and 6 40 w cfls. how long do I vegg for... room is 2x2x8 I ran 3 autoflowers in my grow closet and did rile good now just growing 1

You want to fill half your space before you flip. And with such a small footprint, but lots of height, you should seriously consider vertical growing...

I don't use the hole 8ft my plant will be 2ft off the ground pluss my filter takes 2 ft of space then my light ......so I'm working with 3 or 4 ft of grow space will be lsting and may do some monster cropping to keep it short but wide

You got the right idea...LST is your friend

I like this answer. If its too crowded then youve done well. Yes lst will help you stay short and thats what you want, but its not about height when it comes to filling the space really. You really want to fill the horizontal plane where you have the best light. The footprint the light puts out is what you want to cover. Normally a 600 w hps fixture will cast a 4x4 "footprint", so you want the plants canopy to fill that 4x4 space. Then you are maximizing your space. Some guys grow one big lst monster, some guys fill trays with many many plants, some guys run six smaller plants. The big difference in all these styles is how long of a veg you need to fill the footprint. Fill it up and flip em over.

I guess I'll gust grow till my room is filled up side to side I would grow 2 n there but I got to dry them out in the room to so I'm afrade they will finish at different times
