1 of my seedlings started out bad

Hello all
I started a lemon kush and a bubblegummer seed....I put them in peat pellets and it seemed like they were havin trouble growing out of them....so I took them out of their peat pellets and put em right into ffof.

The lemon kush is doing great but the bubblegummer isn't even half the size of the lemon kush.....I planted them on the same day and my question was should I grow the bubblegummer out even though it looks like a bad start?
(Leaves are real small and slight yellowing)

She is experiencing nute burn my friend, FFOF IMHO is too hot for seedlings. However, I would not repot again at this point, too much stress for her. If I had this issue, I would flush her out and wait to see what happens not adding more nutes for at least 2 waterings.. Bottom line cannabis is a weed and wants to grow. Let her keep going she may just turn out to be budalicious!

Next time try the Happy Frog, not too hot, not to cool...just right.

Good Luck!

Water - RO or tap? Do you know your EC/PPM? pH?

Tap that I let sit out for a day
I don't know any ex/ppm or ph....I don't have equipment for that.
It's wierd Cuz my lemon kush is looking great
If you are going to grow I strongly suggest buying a decent EC/PPM meter as well as a pH meter. Strains have widely different likes. For example sativa dominant strains generally require a more acidic pH to thrive while an indica will just boogie along in a lot more hostile environment. My tap water is 800PPM. That isn't fit for horses to drink.

Sorry to disagree with other members but ec/ppm has very little if anything to do with soil growing and at any rate totally unnecessary for this grow. They are seedlings and now that I see pics I have to retract my earlier post that you have nute burn. There seems to be nothing wrong with either plant from what I can see, just a small seedling. Have some patience and take good care of them, you will be rewarded. Even if a grow fails, the experience is worth the effort.

What is your light source? and if your ph is off, ph strips at the local pool supply work just fine, test the water before and the run off after. If it is indeed off, read up on how to correct it, very easily done.

Good Luck and Great grow!

Yea the pic makes it look a little better then it is...can't really tell the yellowing but it seemed worse a couple days ago....
I got a 600w hps
Vegging with that to start....right now I'm building a veg cab that's gonna run around 250watts of cfl

Imma keep one in the room (probably lemon kush)I'm in now and switch to 12 12....then the bubblegummer is gonna do 4 more weeks in the new veg cab right next to a new plant....so I'm starting a new plant every month....if things go smooth I'll be harvesting a 8 week vegged plant every month for life

2 plants per box a month apart

I planted straight into FFOF w/20% perlite. It was a tad too much for my autos, but it didn't do any permanent damage.

600w is a lot of light for plants that young, if you have cfls available you may want to move them until they are well rooted. Also if you shut off the light and use the flash to take a pic it will be a lot clearer and easier to see the possible problem.

Yea I jumped the gun and just wanted to get everything started.

I got my veg box framed out already I just gotta wrap it in panda and figure out a lightproof door.
These are the only ladies that'll veg under the monster.

And as far as the pic I'll take it outta the room and get one...hopefully have it up in the next couple hours....thanks for all the help man

Cool, whatever works for your grows man. That is one of the many good things about growing cannabis, every grower does it different, not 'one size fits all'.. If there was just one grow method, this and all other forums, books, blogs, videos etc would be superfluous..
