Ever since I moved here all I have is issues.
Cannot get a plant to look right.
Im feeding clones 0.9EC in veg and thats with 0.2EC tap. So 0.7EC of food and if I go higher i get EC increases. I really need to figure out whats in this tap. pH is 10.3. Never had these issues at the old spot where EC was about the same, but pH was 6.7
Im curious, when measuring EC drops or rises do you fill the res back up to the level started and measure that or do you just measure whats left in the container?
And is it common for plants to not drink or feed much a week or two after transfer? On the Pipedream clones my pH is raising from 5.6 to 6.0 daily and the feed isn't budging and it doesnt look like the water level is budging much either. They are all getting about 0.9EC (0.2EC is tap). The new growth margins are curling down making really narrow leaves and the tips are curling down too. Which to me sounds like over feed, but im not getting tip burn and im getting what looks to be deficiencies, unless I cannot tell overfert from def.
I hear about everyone running 1.4EC-1.8EC from the get go. WTF is wrong with my plants? They seem like they eat when I change the res and then they just stall out. For instance I just changed 2 established veg plant buckets last night, this morning 12 hours later they already dropped 30ppm from 580ppm (1.16EC) to 550ppm (1.1EC)
Same thing in flower except it increases sometimes. I started at 1.0EC a week ago and it got down to 0.84EC and then bounced up to 0.9EC
Purple stalks, purple petioles, bluish/dark green leaves, constant interveinal chlorosis. Rust spots.
I really want to continue growing, but this is stressing me out just for some smoke.
