Four decades of this Harvard Law School grad representing (flushing) Detroit (down the drain) in the US Senate and you're just now realizing that he may be a problem as he retires?

What a legacy he leaves behind ...
We need the dirty on these guys.

It's funny how everyone thinks voting someone out of office is going to work. The problem is the system is corrupt from top to bottom.

The only real solution I see is drastically reduce the size and legitimacy of government. It has turned into nothing more than a mafia that imposes force at gun point to protect special interests and the government's monopoly on force.

I for one have serious doubts these bills will get passed. They just don't create enough theft (tax) by the gov, penalize those who violate the law harshley enough, or create total monoploy for the insiders.

I was a waiter at the flint golf course for a handful of blue moons... Not exactly the skull and bones club or anything but you can bet any mature man with actual money and power has a fucking herd following behind him trying to either benefit or usurp. It's a god damned zoo of greed.

Steve fucking deangelo and his fucking arc view media group make me so fucking angry I just want to keep fucking saying FUCK!!!!

90% of the assholes who own a fucking bridge to Canada or a chain of tanning salons or what the fuck ever most these fucking dweebs own would have NO IDEA what to do or how to do it in the canna industry if he ARC VIEW MEDIA GROUP didn't exists.

Old man Steve deangelo sold out the keys to the kingdom as he's about to turn 100 or so... He gives zero fucks if marijuana is 50an 8th for the shitty stuff.. His kids will profit great!!

What's the answer? I worry the cats already out of the bag and every asshole with half a greedy minds going to want to try to pirate into the canna industry... Am i wrong?

Term limits and public campaign financing seem an elementary start point to me. we really need to see some real change in that game.
Thats like being against strippers and saying "well for starters that whole naked thing has to go!" .... They aren't gonna get rid of their bread and butter without something substantial in the news I reckon... What do you think could cause campaign finance reform? I'm not trying to justify like a hostage situation to change campaign finance... But sorta... What possibly could happen that they would eliminate their bread and butter?

The people just need to wake up and do the math for themselves and take their government back before it bankrupts our children. The problem of regulatory capture is not a difficult concept to grasp, we just need to break the ties between the political class and 1% (aka donor class). The media has no intention of explaining to the sheep that modern schemes like climate change have become literally a boon racking billions into corporations (GE) and politicians (Obama) in recent years. Do reasonable people actually believe that our government has the competence and/or ability to change, no less understand global weather even in the best of times

Regulatory capture is a form of political corruption that occurs when a regulatory agency, created to act in the public interest, instead advances the commercial or political concerns of special interest groups that dominate the industry or sector it is charged with regulating. Regulatory capture is a form of government failure; it creates an opening for firms or political groups to behave in ways injurious to the public (e.g., producing negative externalities). The agencies are called "captured agencies".
