autos u would be better off as they can use both lightwaves at the same time a simple generic one from apollo would do u well
but photo plants they need that blue and red waves so u might end up buying 2 lights one with a blue hue one with a red hue
if u are going cheap route u need to look at the number of blues to red ..........u need 1 light with a higher blue count and 1 light with a higher red count
other wise u will have to spend a few more bucks for a light that does both
the guy is right a 300w will do great for yah good depth and it has a bigger footprint then your area so no low light spots

well with the photos u need to keep the rules
18/6 blue light for veggie
12/12 red light for flowering
some lights can do both veggie and flowering but u are looking at a 300 500 buck investment and the ones i know of are 600w or larger .....that would just be massive overkill for your area as a 600w led can replace a 1000w hid

For $100 more you could get a 120W cob light good for full cycle. Check out Optic Lighting's Vero 120W 4000K. If you think the 300W light is better, power draw ain't a good basis for performance. It's also a good match for the coverage of your space and reliable. I can't say that for the other blurple lights out there not made by the top lighting companies. Save money in the long run by buying right.

Just realised you have a two foot high space - you might want to investigate if the 120W model will bleach your plants. I have no experience with a space that "short". These lights are pretty strong.

i know nothing on Cob designs ...how effective they are on photo

but the lens ........i do know something about
60 degree gets u the greatest depth ....beats any HID and most other lights ...u lose footprint for the superior depth
90 degree is the middle ground ....in both depth and footprint ....it is greater in depth then HID but lower in foot print
120 degree is the widest foot print possible but u lose depth depending on the watt it can be less then HID but equal to footprint

aye ....unless u are planning to increase your area later(then the 60 is a better choice) my plants grow 4 to 5 feet in height
90 degree should get u about 30/36 inches in depth (this is with the light 16/18 inches over the top of the plant .......on a Hid light i know if u get with in 6 inches of the light the bleaching of the plants pigements happen .......as for LED i never had it bleach any of the plants and i have had the top cola touching the glass on the light

u just need 1 light a 300w will do it (2x2 footprint ) i use 2 generic 300w in a 4x4 tent
but for the full spectrum i am not sure about on Photo plants ......i know it does fine on Auto plants
but photos i just not going to tell u to buy them (i do not know ) .......i would get that light i linked yah that does veggie mode and flower mode (that way u know u are in the right light spec for what stage the plants are in)
