Pros and cons of Building vs buying a grow tent/greenhouse

Newbie here! I came across some money and was thinking of buying a grow tent. I was looking at this one from a company called WeatherPort, but was also looking at building one.

Can I get some pros and cons of buying vs building? Do you feel more connected with the one that is built? Did it take a long time to build one? How much upkeep would a built one take?

Thanks!

imo it comes down to personal choice. Generally speaking you can build cheaper than buying if you're handy. That said, my preference after a few years indoor is DIY builds. I have one DIY veg cabinet, a DIY flower room (pimped) and 2 small tents. I much prefer the DIY rooms. Where I don't like tents is for things like hanging lights, heavier fans etc., they all seem flimsy in comparison to proper room builds. Can't beat the quick/easy convenience of a tent though. That's where I bought a couple of small tents, they were expansions and special projects like breeding and I can take them down whenever I want/need to easily. DIY rooms are also better if you own the house and plan to stay for a while, where a tent is probably better for renters or temp setups. Cheers.

All down to cost or how much does it cost to build this thing...?

in per square foot or meter

add it all up ...you will be surprised

if you have the space, and cash go bigass greenhouse

if not an old pc box will do, but you really need room to achieve yield

imo. minimum is 4ftx4ft

good luck
