where do i place the humidity sensor

where do I place the humidity sensor that turns on and off the humidifier, I got it hanging on the door away from my humidifier but level with seedling that be good enough ??? red arrow pointing to sensor

That looks OK. Humidity is spread quite evenly in a room. My humidifier has its own humidity sensor on the cord in back of the unit, works great.

Looks like a good place. As long as its not like right on the floor or ceiling your good.
