Tweed Clearwater bud aka Cali Mist gives a tingle in da troat. Yuck...

So a medical patient friend of mine stopped by last night to chill. He has switched back to Tweed and had an unopened brown plastic medication bottle with a pretty label on the front. (http://liftcannabis.ca/strains/tweed-clearwater)

• It was sealed with a silver foil, 1st thing I did was to reach for the scale. It was a 20g package and it came in at 19.9g. Lol, really Tweed?
• Solid nugs that under the 60x still had some trics attached. Several deep shriveled amber, so it looks like she was harvested at the right time.
• Very dry to the touch, package said harvested in September. Grinder chewed her up real easy. Too easy for 20g day one. This is supposed to last dude 10 days, if it's powder now... (He wonders about adding orange peel to the container to re-hydrate, anyone?)
• Using the VapirRise 2.0 at my usual 385, gave us an immediate and uncomfortable tingle in the back of our throat. Cough city.....
• We did not experience any of this tingle with my lovingly locally grown Purple Kush. Of course, I didn't put it in the microwave either.

Overall poor review. So glad that I am not forced to use an LP, and that options are available. Please expand/protect our options Justin. Medical patients can't wait around for the pot supermarkets to figure it out.

Its normal (IMO) for really dry bud to smoke harsh.

A bit of orange peel will put some moisture back in it, but you will taste it...might like it, might not. But I dont vape so you might not taste anything.

Use this thing. It's called a raw hydrostone. I used to get bud that was in the state of imminent dust....now I use this and after about 24 hrs I take it out and its perfect!

Tip#1 use distilled water

Tip#2 don't forget to remove it....

I'm really looking forward to being as good at spotting bud as I am at identifying red wine. With time I guess....

So you got me! Sort of. This lady lost her label, but I was fairly sure she was a PK. The only other strains it could be are Wappa, The Purps, Chem Dog or Mazar. Fairly sure it is S.Ontario's version of the Purple Kush, but hey, noob alert, so I no know.

Any guesses out of the listed choices if it isn't some sort of S.Ontario PK?

That doesn't look like purple kush, Purple Kush is VERY dense and buds don't get that large.

I think broken coast is the only way to go. The only one I haven't heard anything negative about, and I have researched the shit out of this. My doc won't sign for a cc or dispensary.

I guess people really like broken coast, and they're wayyyy cheaper than wmmc. That's who you were with right?
