My point is successful US fiscal policy can no longer be made in a vacuum. 30 sec sound byte stuff is nothing but show. More of the same is to ignore lack luster economic growth. The truth is, the global economy is fragile. US economic growth is dependent on global performance. We can't put this turd back in the can.
