Need to hide plants for a few hours

Got the landlord coming round to do a routine inspection of the property on Thursday. Got an 80x80x160 tent in the spare bedroom. The tents easy enough to collapse and hide. What can I do with the plants though? They are currently seedlings and will be 13 days in. I think they will go nicely under the bed but the time the land lord is due round is 14 hours into lights on cycle. Will have to hide it earlier though obviously in case of an early visit so would be moving them 12 hours in. Any advice or ideas?

I was thinking of adjusting the cycle back by an hour each day to get it as close as I can to lights off then just cutting the on time a few hours short on the Thursday? Would this work?

The hiding part is fine I just want to know about the light as it will be 3/4 of the way into the on cycle. I've read bringing them into darkness then back into light can fuck them up?

If it's just one day it won't affect the youngsters very much. Just get them on schedule the next day. It's better to just mess with the light cycle for just one cycle than to adjust it everyday.

So should take them out at 12.00 (12 hours into lights on) then put them back under light by 15.00 - 16.00 for the remaining few hours?

Or do I skip the last few hours of light?

I've got no car. But like I said it's not so much hiding them that I was worried about, I was just wondering what's best to do because of lighting.

The landlord will not be looking under the bed or in cupboards it's just a 6 month inspection that was in the tenancy agreement. They're just making sure it's not been trashed.

Im new to growing but I've never read anywhere of them taking that long to harvest unless the light cycle doesn't change. Seed info said 10 weeks so would expect 12-14 weeks.

Even so, I dont think there will be another unless he sees something he's not happy with, which is unlikely.

But any information on hiding them at a later stage is welcome, Just in case!
