Non-see through greenhouse material?

I am building a greenhouse but I want it so people cannot look inside of it. I have seen material where it is white and you cannot see inside.

What type of material is this called?

Also, would I need a humidity/temperature controller for a greenhouse in Northern California weather?

Thanks.

I'd like to see the answer for this aswell. I've tried searching about oneway glass but I couldn't find anyone using/selling one

Well I was thinking not glass but some sort of thready, white material.

I say this because glass is much to expensive for me.

PVC plastic #1material to build greenhouses imo.

Take a look here, http://www.greenhousemegastore.com/category/polycarbonate-panels but you have to remember, some of these panels will actually filter the light, so do some research first to make sure you arent investing a lot in a build that wont really work the way you want it to. The best way may be to build the green house but then fence it in to keep the prying eyes out. I don't know your layout or setup, so that may not be an option. Good luck with the project.

I have a huge open backyard. brick walls on both sides at least 7/8 feet high. but I wanna get enough sun penetration and if I have to supplement with some cfls.. which lights for light supplement would be the least dim but still keep them in veg..

I'm here in cali and the area is very commercial.. and choppers fly over all the time.
