So yeah maybe you guys know me, im about to plant weed and i have 3 seeds. One of my friend keep telling me " to have 1 weed plant you need 2 seeds that you will place at the same place "
So i just wanted to know if it's really 2 seeds per plant or it's just 1 seed per plant ?

You can grow multiple plants in one pot, if its got the space to keep them separated by at least 2 feet or so (like a long and rectangular trough). The main issue is they will start to compete for nutrients, one plant will dominate/choke out the other (think thunder dome rules, two man enter one man leave).

The other issue is moving plants around becomes problematic, and if your indoors, you probably want to be able to have that sort of flexibility. Outdoors its more of is their enough space for the roots issue if they don't need to be moved around.

What you are probably hearing is grow 2 plants, the second one as a backup.

Yeah i will not listen to him anymore
Good thinking. You are always best to do your own research and ask a lot of questions around here. There are a lot of people here who know what they are doing when it comes to growing. And remember that if something sounds fishy to you, check and see if there is any real science behind it. Science is a gardeners friend.

Right now I have a pot with 3 plants. They are tied down away from each other in a triangle fashion. The ONLY reason to do this is if you are just vegging for clones as it does save space I notice.

If I may, it's more of a general gardening thing ro sow 2 or 3 per container...better chance of a stronger seedling. But pot seeds are so expensive. .. you got 10 seeds, yeah, 10 pots. You got a pollinated female with loads of seeds? Go nuts.
