Slight Yellowing and Downward Curling Leaves

First time in a long time I've tried this. Just now have the ability and have wanted to grow for a long time. Sometime I'll post more about how I am doing this under the appropriate subsection, but, for now I have a couple minor issues I'd like an opinion on.

Strain: OG Kush - Fem (future mothers)
Light: 1 150w equivalent (can't remember actual wattage) cfl 1-2" from plant - 1 per plant
Medium: 25% perlite, 75% FFOF
Temp: stable around 79-81 for the last week or so
Humidity: was up in the 60s last week, I have been lowering it gradually, currently 45%
Nutrients: none yet.
Water: distilled, watered 21oz 11/7 when transplanting into medium from solo cup, 16oz 11/10 (didn't seem like enough but probably was), and 21oz 11/12.

Plants were germinated on Halloween, currently 13 days old from germination day.

I suspect I have some overwatering based on the downward curl of a few leaves. I think I just got too excited as jumped the gun and additionally used too much water. I am beginning to see some yellowing of leaves starting at their base. It looks a bit more yellow inn person than the photo.

I have searched on here and looked at a few threads about yellowing and some graphics for diagnosing plant problems, but can't nail down exactly what it is and want opinions from someone more knowledgeable than I! I'm thinking possibly a lack of calcium because the Humidity has been fairly high and inhibiting transpiration.

Thoughts? And do my leaves look abnormally broad to anyone?

I have 2 if these growing, I'll upload a photo or 2 of the other as well, looks like a nice healthy seedling, also has fairly broad leaves.

Thank you.

By the way...

The yellowing has occurred in the last day or two. I'm not planning to make any changes immediately, just going monitor it and see if the curling gets better with a reduction in watering. Just trying to stay ahead of this.

Your pot is busted, otherwise perfect assuming you watered right before photos.

Watered yesterday. I was going to use a different pot but it helps me remember which plant is which in the photos. Haha

Looks good, I see the slight yellow in the middle your talking about. Sometimes I over water a little getting anxious to get the little buggers rolling. I would just let them dry a day or two longer until the medium dries out in the top inch or so. Should green right back up.

Those plants look good to me. Feed once a week, water no more than 250ml per 4" pot per day. Get an empty 4" pot, fill with soil. Saturate until the water flows out of the bottom. When it stops, pick it up. Approximately half that weight is what you want to keep your water at.

Thanks for the input and advice. I appreciate it.

Ill update this in a few days. The plants are both starting to sprout additional branches at the first 2 nodes, they should look pretty different by then.

The leaves are normal,, Indica and Indica dominant plants have thick wide leaves

Perhaps i choose the wrong thread to get advice from, i had read some advice on another thread here to use distilled.

As far as the amount of water, if you say that's too much, would you suggest watering based on plant size or pot size? The pot is approximately 1gal in size.

I think you're exactly right btw. Checked out that link, great info. Thank you!

I hate being the uneducated newbie... i did order a ph meter, and ph up/down. Should be here Monday or Tuesday.

I would probably change just about everything you are doing. Especially the way you treat your wife's family

Just an update, the photos are from today. I stopped using distilled, instead am using tap that sits uncovered to let any chlorine evaporate. I am waiting on a ph meter to come in the mail (as well as ph up/down).

The growth was definitely stunted, but has picked up a little in the last few days. I have 7 more seeds if these plants do not make it, but I'm going to try to save them and if they die I can at least say I learned some very valuable info in the process of killing them. Haha.

I'm still open to suggestions if anyone has any other ideas of what I may have done wrong. I'm thinking there is a good chance Terry835 was right about me using distilled. I figured it was "clean" and "pure" water, but that's likely the problem with it. It should be around a ph of 7 which is t on the high end id guess, and has no real trace elements to offer.

Anyone want to confirm or reject my assumptions?

Thanks again to those who helped.
