Slight Yellowing and Downward Curling Leaves

I read time and time again FFOF soil is HOT, I believe this is just another example.

I suppose the experts will come along soon enough and guide you properly. Personally, If this were me and my problem I would probably wait until my next watering, and go ahead and flush just to get some of the nutes outta the soil. Not a big fan of flushing but sometimes it just needs to happen. Just my opinion.

I did see a post about FFOF being hot lately. Not sure if that's the issue or not. I'm mostly wondering about how most of the leaves are curling down like they are. I'm still thinking terry may have been onto something about the distilled locking out nutrients. Many larger leaves are dry to the touch and some will crack if bent.

As soon as the ph meter arrives ill start watering with water of the correct PH and see where it goes. I'm tempted to add some nutrients, but if the soil is hot that could make it worse. Id just like to have the plant hydrated before i worry about nutrients.

I really managed to make my first grow a cluster. Hopefully i can get it back on track and get a few healthy clones going in the next couple weeks.

I have some actual data and I think I've identified the problem, but could use some opinions on the solution.

My ph tester arrived today. I tested my tap water, which registered 8.5 (has been sitting in an open jug for a few days). I've been boosting the ph of my soil with every watering. Would the symptoms in the photos back that up?

I adjusted it to 6.5. Should i flush next time I water, or just water as normal?

Distilled water has no minerals, get a forced mineral filter for your tap or under your faucet. It will remove enough of the bad stuff and it adds beneficial minerals.
