Bottom leaves browning and falling off!

Okay, 5 weeks into flowering, I keep the pH at 5.5, using coco with a layer of clay pebbles on top of the coco, top feed once daily. I just got rid of a fungus gnat infestation using Azamax and Mosquito Bits. When I first got the gnat infestation a noticed the bottom fan leaves browning and curling up and eventually dying, but I assumed that would stop when the gnats went away, but it continued. So then I thought maybe there was a salt build up so I flushed with plain water 2 days in a row, now I'm back to feeding with nutes but the problem still persists. Any idea what could be causing this? The buds are fine right now but pretty much all of the undergrowth has fallen off and I don't want the problem to keep moving upward. Any suggestions would be appreciated!

Ya it just happens. The plant sheds bottom leaves all the time. It doesnt need them anymore socit drops em. Nothing to be concerned about. Now if the top leaves start falling out you have a problem.

Yea but the problem is steadily moving up the plant, and I will literally find a handful of dead leaves to pull out almost every day. It just seems a little too aggressive to me. But I appreciate the input!

Yup, it happens. Post pictures of the top of the plant from a little ways back socwe can see it. Hows the color? Normal green or pale yellowish?

Yea the tops of the plants look great, but the bud sites under the canopy are yellowish and weak looking. Sorry for the hps light. Also, the big plant is DJ shorts blueberry, the small one is grape ape. The grape isn't really losing leaves like the blueberry is. But the blueberry is so much larger I guess it would make sense.

I feed them nute water every morning with about 20% run off. I read that I wouldn't habe to alternate between nute water and plain ph'd water as long as I watered until saw run off, but I'm not sure how true that is, which is why I thought there might be a salt build up and flushed. But they are back on nutes every morning.

Might check for a fungal root problem. Could be why you had a gnat problem. Seems to be happening a lot lately.

Well I've been using OGTea's Special Sauce beneficial microbes twice a week. I think the reason I got the fungus gnats was because I was feeding them twice a day and the coco wouldn't dry out. So I lowered it to just once per day. How do you check for a fungus problem when the roots aren't visible?
