So what do we do now with the "refugees"?

“I hear folks say that maybe we should just admit the Christians but not the Muslims,” - Obama

What a fucking liar. People are saying we shouldn't let ANY of them in, they're not saying just Christians. His staff probably found some obscure Christian blogger that wrote that and now he tries to pass that off as the actual opposing position.
Well Ted Cruz did say that, asshole that he is.

i used to live with a buddy of mine. almost every friday and saturday nite, he'd pass out in his recliner in front of the TV. before i went to bed, i'd change the channel to the 700 club or one of those other "pastors". after a few months, he asks me why he always woke up and there'd be a religious channel on. i had to fill him in while trying not to bust a nut laughing so hard.

The interview I saw included Cruz saying no Muslims from extremist hotspots. The interviewer drew the conclusion and asked him if that meant he would let Christians in. His reply was something that smacked of common sense...something along the line of they are being killed, they aren't doing the killing. Maybe he's wrong, maybe there's a long list of middle eastern Christian terrorists recently butchering innocents in the name of their faith. As an anti-theist, I'm no fan of any religion, but the Christians from over there tend to be a docile, go along get along type of folk.

Sabra and Shatila refugee camp massacres where a Lebanese Christian militia during the Lebanese civil war killed upwards of 3,500 Palestinian and Lebanese Shiite civilians under the watch of the IDF. Also there was the Karantina and Tel al-Zaatar massacre.

The unfortunate reality of civil wars is that there are no innocent parties. There are Christians fighting in the Syrian civil war.

The unfortunate reality of civil wars is that there are no innocent parties. There are Christians fighting in the Syrian civil war. Moreover the United States requires no religious test for entry, to do so would be against the very defining core of this country. As long as they are fleeing a civil war because their homes have been destroyed, we should help them regardless of their religion. To alienate Muslims and only allow Christians is to only further Daesh's goals and rhetoric where they say that the final conflict between Muslims and non-believers is approaching. We cannot let Daesh win the ideology war, we cannot help them.

I'm unsure as to why you want to help Daesh.
Well, I do appreciate the information, I wasn't up on that. There's always acts of barbarism during war, civil or otherwise. But, I think the current fear is acts of terrorism like Paris, etc. Not being combative with you, but I'm interested, have there been ANY similar acts of terrorism like Paris, Russian airliner or Hebdo, by middle eastern christian terrorists?

As far as myself, I haven't yet stated my personal view on accepting refugees.

Ted Cruz questionnaire:

if you were stranded on a deserted island, would you rather it be with God or Allah?
God= come on in
Allah=get the fuck out.

If assistance isn't provided and there is no obligation to provide because you are not a member. Then you haven't been failed.
You really are stupid and Carson is a liar
The Budapest Memorandum on Security Assurances is a political agreement signed in Budapest, Hungary on 5 December 1994, providing security assurances by its signatories relating to Ukraine's accession to the Treaty on the Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons. The Memorandum was originally signed by three nuclear powers, the Russian Federation, the United States of America, and the United Kingdom. Chinaand France gave somewhat weaker individual assurances in separate documents.[1]

The memorandum included security assurances against threats or use of force against the territorial integrity or political independence of Ukraine, as well as those ofBelarus and Kazakhstan. As a result, Ukraine gave up the world's third largest nuclear weapons stockpile between 1994 and 1996,[2][3] of which Ukraine had physical if not operational control

Give us all your nukes in exchange for protection was the aggreement.
