Making Hemp Paper

[Final Phase]

There is a way to turn your old hemp leaves into hemp paper of all kinds in an easy inexpensive manner.
I'm hoping to someday sell my paper as art behind framed glass.

When I get to the next step of breaking down the hemp I'll add to this thread.

Many ways to embellish the paper produce by placing things on top of the paper like a large cannabis leaf or rose petals, etc.

For now the leaves need to finish drying...

That's exactly one of the things I do with hemp paper - Lay cannabis leave in their entirety onto the paper and seal.

Yes, but when I do it, I put them on hemp paper which is pretty easy to make.

That was a practice one. I'm going to do one with acrylic paint and canibus. I'm going to call them Cannibus on canvas, as I have some used canvases from the Goodwill that I can Jesso over..

You should show us your paper tek... I've thought that nicely framed up dried leaves, would be awesome art, especially if it had a little metal plaque with the strain name, on top of hemp paper would be even better, stalk frame... .

I'm drying some whole plants. I'm trying to press whole buds. I think I'm going to have to stack hundreds of lbs. of bricks on the plywood/Sheetrock. I'll try to take some picks. Some of my stalks were braided together by some local artists to make a Chinese Dragon. I was in the "Million Marijuana March" in Portland. I'm going to contact some folks from NORML to see if there are pictures available. That dragon head is what inspired my interest in art.
