Idk if it's me but a lot of seed companies seem to only sell feminised seeds. I feel like this is a marketing strategy to make you have to constantly buy seeds instead of being able to simply make your own (without having to breed to females). I don't know if its true or not, breeding fems eventually causes hermies. But either way, I'll be sad if one day reg seeds are off the market.

Exactly why I'm currently building a stash of regular seeds. Gonna have to order some back ups to strains I have already that I really like. With so many new strains being created, some older strains are starting to be discontinued.

You can make your own seeds from feminized lines. Just has to be done differently. People are using females mostly because they're easier to breed with and the demand for female seeds is much higher.

There's plenty of breeders that sell regs and imo most of the highly reputable ones don't fuck with fems at all.

Fuck an auto, don't touch em. Grew a freebie auto sour once it was good. I wanna breed some Barney farms lsd and pyramid seeds tutankhamun. On the way they're both feminised is stressing and breeding a good way to go? Is it the only way to go?

man i been panic buying beanz online since 2000 thinking that everything will be feminized shortly & or the polies/fuzz would outlaw the UK/CAN/US seedbanks at any moment, got soo many seeds i just cannot grow them all out now with original purchases soo old they are losing their gemination rate, i think if a person just gets 5-10 absolute top proven strains(regs) they can carryon breeding their own if the bean distribution networks cease as we know it in the future, & im really glad to see soo many new seedbanks bringing out non feminized strains...bodes well for the future

Silver spray works, that's what a lot use, spray on lower branches to induce hermie.

i used to think this too but honestly there's a Huge Awakening happening and Tons of people are caring and being good stewards of saving genetics and varieties.! Baker Creek Seed is one example of an explosion of growth that one man started and now he is introducing Crazy varieties that were only deep in third worlds.

I remember Years ago watching a video of DNA Talking about how they are focusing on regular seeds because of this... And starting to smoke Only pollen... Haha and now look where we are only 7 years later! EVERYONE smokes pollen/concentrate... And regulars are what only Tge Best deal with now.

So quick question on the silver spray. Just order some 250ppm in a 2fl.oz bottle. How much water would I need to dilute it to so that its at least 30ppm? About 3 cups of water maybe? Or less?

I don't like them concentrates. Fucks with my tolerance. And I don't wanna be that high. I def fuck with kief but that's it. I really wanna find some of those rare 3 world sativas though. I'll waiy 4 months to flower I don't give a fuck. So if you have a link that's be cool.

Grew out a package of autos and was not impressed. Tried a bunch of freebie fems and some where really nice. But I'm a reg grower, and make seeds of almost every strain I grow. If fact I plan of spending all of 2016 working with my Maui, Bay 11 cross, find the female pheno and keep a clone line going and probably more important find the perfect male

You can mame seeds out of a female plant withojt stressing the said strain. Theres 2 different ways i know that ive done before and got seeds that are all females without hermies from super lemon haze.

Its a learning process...you can seed just a part of your female. Then wrap it in plastic. Then water the female just to make sure ur whole plant wont be seeded. Its a pain to pick them seeds of a plant.

Yeah im probably just gonna seed the whole plant and short veg it. Unless there's a problem with doing it that way. I want at least 150 seeds from each plant. Get two clones off each plant then wait for clones to root then seed the entire mother plant.
