this is as far as i needed to read into this post to know that youre delusional. Our methods are not even close to each others at all. You did not hit a pound and a half with a six hundred. And your probably wearing lipstick in the grow room with your penis tucked between your legs. I will not answer your questions on how to grow and you will never be as cool as me. Suuuuuuuuuuuck.

With all the lies you told do you seriously expect us to believe you? First you're a grower, turns out it's not your grow. Now you're trying to deny that your a cop. A metal halide promotes root growth more than anything. That's where the proggressive Conservative party went wrong. They thought everyone wanted roots:) If you feel that you need a metal halide I would recomend a 150 watt mercury vapour (frosted) MH. If it's used correctly it can make a plant tall and spindly...quikly. Great for moms:)

TBO the most rediculous crop I've ever had was done with 2kw's of MVMH and 1kw of hologen in an 8'x8'x8' area. The cola knobs came off like cobs and they weighed in at 10 -36 grams per knob. I haven't had anything like it since.

The bump here gives me the chance to share my current result. Once again running under an HPS has me chopping on day 80 on stains that were consistently ready at 70 days under MH lighting. Adding the blues this time kicked in some trichs though.

I dont think 5 to 10 days dif on one grow is enough to draw any conclusions. Too many other factors come into play.

I ran white russian 3 times in a row in the exact same conditions and and each run finished at different times. I attribute that to inconsistency in outside weather making sublte changes in the grow room ( i pipe in fresh outside air causing temp and humidity fluctuations for example; also decreasing light intensity due to bulb wear and so on). Also, inconsistency in PPM strength, timing of feedings 3tc etc etc. And... even though they were the same strain, not every clone/seed is equal...

So who knows?

The MH stat is from over 50 grows. Three of them being mine which were all nicely ready at 70 days. The rest from a guy who has been growing these strains since the 90s and he generally is chopping at day 65. That said...You are correct on the HPS side of the equation. I agree, 2 slowpokes under HPS is too small a sample to conclude anything. Originally asked because I wondered whether it was common...while now just reporting what I have (again) observed.

Fair enough...

...but... my point was more about the 5 to 10 days thing...

Lets say there is a strain that finishes consistently 10ish days longer under HPS than MH. Then you're onto to something. But if it is varying... sometimes 5 or sometimes 10... I don't think much can be gleaned from that given so many other factors.

I'm not doubting what you say. Too many have suggested the same. I'm just sayin....

Yeah I get it. Going back to MH all the way again for the next go-around, I think. Finally retired my last MH bulb after 5 grows, 1.5 years.
