Javadog's Next Adventure

Hey Team,

Thank you all for the posts. I regret being so head-down
for work, but am happy to see you all rocking it.

Mo: the neat thing about the strips is that there is no residue.
(you do a lot of outdoor growing...I find that having a garden means
that I can get a critter now and then....on the upside they are
never "the borg" == super-critters cultured in grow rooms, but are
instead normal garden bugs...which can be killed.)

TC, no worries, but I am not sure that I got the sin-Ds. I got a sweet
pipe that I can still enjoy with a screen.

I got the sex of a few plants. Had to chop the obvious male Super Purple
from BigWorm....it shot right up...really looked to be male, and was.

But I got a female of the very crazy sounding cross Sour Power X Biker Kush
This was a gift from smokAl0t. The Biker Kush hybrid was male, but
the Nirvana's OG is still to show.

This is that cross, Reserva Privada's Headband, and Critical Kush from
the front to the back:

That is a Blue Pit that I am flowering from the pole.

I have a Barney's Farm Blue Cheese on the other side. I grew this one, and it was
fine but not a keeper. We will see.

More to come.

I am still working out hydro. I am at 1400...have been higher...have
not burned anything at all yet....had to get the pH down but that is
under control now.

I am planning to switch back to "day at night" when we get to the summer
months, and will be setting up 9 5 gallon bucket plants to flower during the
summer. i.e. I will not be trying to flower in hydro thru the heat waves.
I cannot afford a chiller and without one, it just will not work.

I bought some Great White. That is a wonderful product, but for the insane price.

P.S. B.F. You make GIANT buds bro! It is good to have you here.

I have not found my Kessils to be a big problem, temp wise. I only run the
fully ducted 600W HPS otherwise.

BUT, as I write this, we are having an odd warm spot this weekend...it is 81 F
in the man-cave and must be up where your temps are too.

I am sort of a bad example, as I am happy for optimal results when I can get them,
I kinda take it as academic when shit goes sideways. LOL i.e. when it gets really
hot, my plants suffer a tad and do not produce as well...no worries. I have no
patients to support, or I'd be less cavalier.

When I wrap my hands around one of the 350s, I can feel that it is blowing off
some heat, but it is not enough to drive the temps in my tent, I am thinking. That
seems to be the monstrous 600W hood.

Having dumped by stable on my bro when we had to have the house
inspected, I am popping up a new stable...

You remember the clone table:

The babies:
IMG_5040.JPG

This lot includes some cool Nirvana and Bohdi crosses from SmokAl0t, three cool breeds
from BigWorm (anything involving Qrazy Train is cool by me!), a large number of new TGA
breeds (Space Dawg, Dairy Queen), re-runs of TGAs like Jack's Cleaner 2, Apollo 13 BX,
and my own TGA cross Jack The Cleaner, many awesome BB breeds that I must work
again. (both Cherries, Blue Pit, Cheese Crosses. etc) along with a few odds-n-ends
including Critical Kush, a slew of barneys Pineapple Chunk, Blue Cheese (already in the tent),
and Chronic Thunder.

I will post a strain list....any comments will be appreciated.

The new ladies in the tent. You can tell that I am having to get them
into the tent....could have been half again bigger at least.

One of the tops of the Sour Power X Biker Kush:

I use only water until they have enough roots to survive feeding.

I also try (!) to be wary of sensitive breeds.

I learned from Purple Wreck == my doomed effort. That breed would crinkle
up if you showed it the nutes. Incredible. Hinted at incredible scents at
about week 4-5 of the furthest I got it....and then that one shriveled up
after a later term feed. It was just a plant that could not be treated together
with other plants....it needed to be considered separately.

If I can get them to pop, and get the damned helmet off, and get them to
grow to the point where we can uppot them to a 6" pot...that is where I consider
them to have made it into the living....

I almost have Smell Cherry to that step...it takes weeks from when the seed is
put into the towel/bag.

A week to be out of the shell and growing and at least two to get to up-potable.

These Sannie's Jack in 5 days 3 out of 5 are out of their shell, and are about 2" long with the initial leaves.
The other 2 are showing root and still in paper towel.
I planted the 3 in the soil cut with perlite.
Ill hope for the best.

It can seem like a crap shoot sometimes....but the odds are
in our favor I think.

BTW: I added the other Quattro Formagi that I had to the nursery,
or, well, I have two more bean in a moist towel.

Dr I have yet to grow that one out....got a few beans though...I will check....

The Cheeses are something that Kaliman put together Bass.

If I recall the depiction that smokAl0t laid on me, they took their entire
stable of cheeses and exposed them to each other...

From their site:

A 4 strain 16 seed mixed pack at a 10 pack price with Cheese#1, pure unhybridised Exodus genetics, Rockster’s Cheese which is full on cheese and citrus flavour, Cheese Tease with hints of fromage rather than the off the gauge full ‘mouth coating’ taste of Cheese#1 which just like the original Exodus clone is just too much taste wise for some, and Marley’s Cheese, our strain with many variations on a Cheese x Skunk#1 theme and due to it’s variety comes with pleasant surprises from the sublime to the exotic, with a true ‘Afghan bottom’ on some pheno’s which is pleasantly discernable on the palette.

Great news team:
IMG_5053.JPG

My package was not rifled and I will not have to wait for my beans
and for whatever freebies they decide to send.

The freebies are three HSO and two Dinafems. Only one is an Auto,

Take care,

JD
